I kept thinking, so where is the stone she’ll put the house into? And ... half way the video... yeah right, it was cardboard too! You are a genius, Creative Mom!
If you sealed the whole thing with a mix of modpodge and black paint first it would waterproof the cardboard and harden it, and then after you paint it you could seal again with matte varnish
Creative Mom, What can I say but to simply be amazed with your patience and modelling skills. Wonderful. Just Wonderful. I always thought cardboard was just boxes for packing things in. How wrong I was.👍🇦🇺🤪😁☮️
I have adhd and am constantly skipping around youtube and videos and get impatient and want to see the final product but any time I watch you videos, especially this one, I become so mesmerized and entranced, the end of the video gets there without me realizing that time had passed. I have no desire to skip ahead and miss out on the beautiful work you do. I love that I found this channel. I'm always put at ease when watching this content.
Soooooo incredibly fun looking! How fun would it be to create the interior like a doll house set up (permanent of course) so you could look in and imagine a tiny life living there.
Your pieces are fantastic. As a retired structural engineer, I have a suggestion. When you added those sills below the windows, you could have placed a single sill spanning and extending beyond both windows. This would give resistance to unintended bending across the face of the wall. It would not consume a significant amount of additional material and would save the step of trimming at 4 window corners for a pair of windows.
This just blew me away. I once had a dream many years ago that I had a bathroom that looked exactly like this. It was an open room on the side of a big mountain overlooking the ocean. I've never forgotten that dream. I am in love with your work and you've inspired me to start making similar projects 🏵️
I am currently making this, and she makes it look a lot less time consuming than it is, for sure! It is turning out super cool. Thank you for this. I would have never been able to think this up on my own. I am doing the tall skinny white air dry clay lights, too.
@@fantasyminiworld7066 not sure why you are spamming the comments on someone else's video but your unsolicited comments can go up your ass with your head. Goodbye
This is a beautiful piece. For some reason, it reminds me of reading about Pompeii. I usually work in polymer these days but love to see what cardboard and other artists are creating. I pick up so many wonderful ideas and tips. Besides, I have wonderful yellow egg cartons that break my heart every time I have to throw them out...lol! Thank you for inspiring me and taking the time out to write the description. Well done!
You visualized something in your mind, then you find innovative solutions to create it. For example, I would have never thought of making use of torn up cardboard egg containers as an easy, recycled solution... instead, I'd have went straight for the more traditional paper mache. Bravo to your creative mind, thank you!
EXCELENTE!!! 😉👍
Wow❤️❤️❤️Started watching it and wondering if my husband had a tool that could cut into rock as I'd have wanted one made for me by him😂😂then I kept watching... Incredible!!
From the amount of comments I kind of doubt that you’ll see this one. But I’ve been watching you for a few years and I think I would say that this is one of my all time favorites. That is saying a lot because everything you make is amazing. The only thing I might suggest and I believe you did this on one of your houses, is that you cover the armature of the rock with even just a plain piece of painted paper so that when us nosey ones look through the window we see just more of things from our imagination rather than the cardboard. If this makes sense. Thanks for always making us dream a bit. 👍🏼🤍
This looks great. Maybe some simple faux backdrop for inside the windows to simulate a room or just something to discover on a closer look. Great work!
🌈✨Golden hands without courtesy, and frankly, you are creative✨The first thing I saw was a real rock.... ✨🌈
Every time I watch, I think you couldn’t out do your previous project and then bam, you kick it up another notch. Excellent!
Has to be said. This woman is a true Artisan. No elaborate materials, no power tools. Just herself, cardboard and a bit of glue and paint. 💪 ❤️
I kept thinking, so where is the stone she’ll put the house into? And ... half way the video... yeah right, it was cardboard too! You are a genius, Creative Mom!
Haha exactly my thoughts xD
I was thinking exactly the same thing 🤔😁👏Brilliant craftsmanship and artistry 👏👏
This is fantastic. I totally need to use this idea but make a weatherproofed version for my garden. I already have ideas. Thanks!
Did it work?
If you sealed the whole thing with a mix of modpodge and black paint first it would waterproof the cardboard and harden it, and then after you paint it you could seal again with matte varnish
It looks like a house of the city of Petra ! You have such an imagination! Beautiful !!!

For a second I thought it's a real rock and wondered how she's gonna fit the house inside the rock lol
Hhhh the same thing
For more than a second 😅
Eggzactly
Me too. I thought, “It’s impossible!”.
I thought was a real rock with a card board lay in thing. Was wondering how long it took to shave out the insides of the rock without breaking it.
The look of a house with pillars dug into the rock is so fascinating and cool. It reminds me of the Petra
😍☺️
This is just what I needed to close out my day at 2 am, lol. The house looks fantastic and is very ingenious. Happy Spring to all. :)
Bellísimo trabajo 😍💖💖👏👏💞
Your so incredibly inspiring to so many artists like my self and the young ones keep up the beautiful work...
Soooooo incredibly fun looking! How fun would it be to create the interior like a doll house set up (permanent of course) so you could look in and imagine a tiny life living there.
When you see this you wonder why landfills are full of cardboard. I love the creativity of those that see the bigger picture. Beautiful.
This technique has been used by old school model railroad folks for years. Very cool
I legit thought this was a real rock. This is amazing
You’re so talented! At the beginning when you showed the back of your work I thought it was the rock you would be using as a reference

It looks like a Greek landscape. Greeks build houses in the rock. 😉 👌
The egg carton patching and sanding technique is mesmerizing! Thanks for this.

Un régal pour les yeux, vraiment impressionnant👏✊👍 🤗🎉
Depuis la France un Grand Merci 🦋🌹🖐
I thought it was a real rock in the beginning and that you carved into it and put your cardboard house inside 😄
Perfect idea for my rockery where I want to add little mystical homes.
Will just have to fully coat with PVA to cater seal them
