The greatest misfortune to befall the German panzer divisions was that 80 years later someone would use robot AI to pronounce their names and be too fucking lazy or incompetent to actually listen to the end result and exit it..
The massive air control by the Allies and the huge effects of their naval bombardments were the key factors for making the invasion a success and later winning the war...although one can't help wondering what would have happened if Germany hadn't had most of their Armies battling in the East, thus fighting the Allies only in the West...In that case, the invasion would have failed and the invaders would have been pushed back to the UK. The same would have happened in the East with all the Wehrmacht's might concentrated against the Reds.
It was an informative and wonderful military evaluation video about the infamous Lehr Panzer division .video clearly explained all circumstances that elite Panzer division fought in East, West, and South Frontiers furiously and strongly..How many times sent back for reparation and training . I tried to watch this video and clicked off after the 1st 60 seconds. You should try to learn to correctly pronounce the Division names. Honesty, I thought I was listening to an AI robot.
All of these divisions were too far away from the coast. Right from the get go. They should already have been there at the time of the landings. Thank God they wrre not. What a waste of good men.
Get a human…not an AI or a computer. This vid could have been wonderful, if not for the huge number of mistakes and mispronunciations by the machine. Sad…if I’m honest.
I think they’re Spanish, so they can't check the pronunciation or spelling so easily/accurately. Great channel, and well worth the occassional minor AI b.s., especially as it's rife, even endemic and far worse on English - unfortunately [as a Yank] dumbed down Americans' chans, wether they employ AI or not, lol. Cheers
Great content. Love all your videos. It’d be even better if there was a bit of condemnation of the Nazis in your videos too. One would think your channel is a little empathetic to the Nazis
It seems to me this is a strictly academic channel, concentrated 100% on the military issues, leaving the political opinions aside. There are far too many channels repeating over and over themes such as the concentration camps, the Gestapo, and so on.... We're lucky to have this channel free from that crap.
Aa talented as the division was, it couldnt match Allied Air Power and American manufacturing. So what if they knocked out 40 Shermans a day, there was always 80 more to replace them. They couldnt beat those odds, no matter how expert they were
They magnificently good at losing wars. It is astounding that an army that failed to win a strategic victory and failed to stop their adversaries advance in the final two years of the war is held such high regard.
Loss of food would have sealed the fate of the soviets (unless helped by foreign powers fighting for communism) The soviets got enough food from the USA to feed its soldiers for the rest of the war, 12 million boots , 60 percent aluminum and steel, a lot of tin , 90 percent of railway equipment ( the soviets would never have been able to conduct offensives so fast and transfer their main armies to critical points , 300000 trucks were given , 65 percent of aviation fuel and much more apart from 15 percent tanks ,aircrafts Soviet sympathizers say "only 15 per cent was given to USSR"
I love how you have put so much effort into this video & the research behind it. However, you do yourself a complete disservice in the poor pronunciation of the key German formation titles, ranks etc. it just sounds awful. Speak to a native German colleague and get the understanding & pronunciation right for your audience, it takes practice but it's worth it.

What is also sad and scary is when people here think Hitler was a great commander. The only reason the OSS didn't kill him on his R/C in 44 was because he was viewed as an idiot making military decisions that would eventually lead to Germany's defeat.

Flawless? They couldn't even get Wehrmacht right. 😂

And Tottenkoph.
Panzer Lehr is a "he" this time. ("Lehr" means "teaching" or "demonstration.")
