Rodney O and Brother Marquis had a group called "Caution Crew" back around in 1983. One of the first West Coast rap groups.
For reals? Any of their music out there?
My uncle was a DJ in the 80s and his bedroom was right next to mine. Got my first taste of hip hop hearing Tommy Boy records, Gucci Crew, and Rodney O n Joe Cooley!

Legendary Rodney O & Joe Cooley Yeah Boy!!
The Late Great DJ Cameron Paul broke Rodney O and Joe Cooley in the Bay Area back in the day. He used to mix a lot of their jams in his mixes on record/radio and in the clubs. Rodney O and Joe Cooley were huge in the Bay Area. Cameron Paul was my first introduction to these guys.

Rodney O & Quick need to do a DNA test. They gotta be brothers or first cousins! ❤
Legendary Hip-Hop producer Marley Marl. Said that he invented bass music. When he was in Miami in the early 80's. That's a fact.
