Wien you mentioned mastery of a workflow and not a subject it really resonated with me. Hadn’t thought about it in that way before but now that I hear it I can understand some struggles I’ve had recently. Thank you! And also ofc, really cool painting!
I truly love your insights around all things digital art. A question for you if you dabble much with traditional mediums, pastels, paints and the like?
This is the 3rd video I have watched now, and I love them! Can I ask, when you first get the brief on a character, do you modify the shape/look of them based on their character trope? I would love to see a video right from scratch on these thoughts. Thanks and subbed !
@@jonhand2197 hey there! I consider the shape language mostly for the feeling i want the character to have. Mainly choosing between more flexible or more rigid shapes and deciding how aggressive i want them to look!
Do you do Adjunct jobs? I work at a university and I will be needing someone in the near future to teach one my digital painting classes online next semester. If you are interested shoot me a message. I can pass your info over to my dean.
Yes I taught an online class to a uni in Utrecht last year for a term so that sounds interesting! Best way to reach me is through my artstation or instagram in the description.
