Ill have to talk with him about it. I ran into him once or twice when I lived in PCOLA. Ive been trying to work one with Bama Beach Bum since we are both on the fishbites team, but our schedules just never line up.
Looks like a great day!! Wow! I’m in St Augustine for a few weeks and would love to catch some trout. Might have to head out there this week and see what I can manage. Thanks for the great inspirational & informative video!
Love seeing your videos especially that I live in jax! Been fishing close to here a few times but always near the damn or on the beach. Did you launch at six mile and go north or is there a closer ramp near micklers that I haven't seen?

It was a great trip for sure thanks for watching the videos.
What is a good size yak for someone that’s 6’5?
I would say something at minimum 12' but the bigger the more stable it will be for you. I would recommend a PA14

SlotCityFishing yup; I caught a 27” trout there from shore one day. Made the decision not to launch the kayak, and got him on my 3rd cast.
