@@Player2Gaming I think there's actually an in lore explanation. The reason the markers were created was to jump start intelligent civilizations, by giving infinite energy, and they need enough bio mass to make another moon. So they wait until the civilization is advanced enough to have enough population to support that amount of biomass. So without us finding the makers/ not having space faring technology would actually hide us from the brethren moons.
I think we don’t have all the info on the history of brethren moons. But it seems that they have the same effect. with a civilization destroying itself just to defeat them. at the end of the day, I think necromorphs and the flood are interchangeable. Either could really be in 1st place
To make this short, necromorphs are stronger in literally everything way you could imagine except in time to infect maybe, and I say maybe because the nano somatic gel in Dead Space is overpowered medical technology. The moons have wiped out the galaxy and possibly the universe multiple times over, they don't need to absorb people to get biomass or knowledge as they produce infinite energy and mass and they can read minds before an outbreak even starts. They also start with a marker which is just a more powerful gravemind and get the way more powerful Brethren moon which are Mars sized entities with powers that make keyminds a joke who can be created in a matter of hours in the right conditions.
Especially since the flood doesn't just take biomass but consciousness to add to their own. Each infected makes the hivemind more intelligent. The way I think of it in a semi joking way is: Protogravemind: smarter than you Gravemind: smarter than ai Prototypemind: smarter than everything Keymind: godly Not only do they take biomass and consciousness but they also take everything you knew, all of your skills, talents, experience, and even your powers. Everything you can do... they can do better especially if they have absorbed several people with the same skill. This is terrifying. Imagine invading the 40k universe. The flood infects a single orc... boom now the entirety of the flood hivemind has access to the psychic field that let's them make things work simply by believing it. Or they infect a psychic and then all of the flood are now capable of psychic abilities. To make it even more terrifying is that they can infect anything that is even slightly sentient from AI to theoretically machine spirits or even necrons. They infect someone who knows how to cast magic now the flood can cast magic. To make it worse the flood only needs to hit you once or you just need to breathe a single spore and to highlight the intelligence of the flood, they can "infect" the most powerful AI with logic plagues where they shorten a century long conversation meant to logically convince AI to join their cause (no matter coding) in only a few seconds and it works really well. Yeah, they are insanely powerful. Btw the gravemind is it's lower mid level phase and the final form is essentially a God (the flood is literally a corrupted precursor. Heck more than that since the forerunner were essentially Gods and the precursors were the forerunner gods). Theoretically the flood could eventually access neural physics which could be used to reshape time, space, matter, and reality itself. I hate to sound like I am a stupid and blind halo fan who just wants it to be the best/strongest but the lore is insane and it is largely ignored by other fandoms granted that the halo community can suck at times. But this is comparing a corrupted god to half brained mindless creatures in comparison. The flood is it's own category.
@@Player2Gaming The brethren moons and their markers are way to slow and takes setup to get doomy. The Flood? Beats the Necromorphs by lightyears. Heck even the Tyranids dont adapt as fast, though they are more " natural " and are not inherintly parasitic or disease( virus, bacteria ) born, they use such as tools to further their consumation of worlds. Necromorphs need advanced civilizations or at least have markers placed into primitive civilizations for decent effects

It's kind of sad that you forgot about half-life and it's zombies because everyone forgets about half-life zombies in a discussion about zombies, they're definitely not the most terrifying if it would happen for real cuz they don't have a Hive mind.
If the Project Zomboid Knox Virus was real the world would be crashing so hard. With that shit being airborne and only very few immune survivors it'd turn into a I am Legend quickly
Dayz gone infection is pretty cool and makes more sense with how many people would succumb to it. With infected actively looking out for food and water survivors are having to compete with them rather than avoiding them, and then when the shops run out of edible contents they will be going house to house looking for more if they hadn't smelled something cooking from it already

so fun fact, the flood in the game series is only at a small percentage of what it once was, having been wiped out by the forerunners. there's larger forms we haven't gotten the chance to see, such as the Keymind, which were as large as planets. they also have the ability to infect AI with a logic plague.
Good video, btw the Flood's Grave minds can control and use neural physics which can span solar systems in size. FTL roads, slice through entire planets, etc. But you only know that from the books. Also Key Minds can become as large as planets. See, Gaveminds are the highest form however they depend on how many Key Minds there are and how far the infections has spread. As I said Key Miknds can become planet sized so.... Yeah, what we see in the games are the babies pretty much.

I remember that one mission when you had to run to the tower, i screamed while running all the way there and then i hid in a house just to realize it stays night until you make it to the tower💀
Sunset overdrive technically falls into the infection category with the cause of infection spread through the consumption of energy drinks. So that's 90% of youtubers that try to sell you gamersupps or Prime energy dead to start with then you move onto the death toll of the average Twitch streamer, Alcoholic and Student during mid-terms. Because the flood doesn't just infect biomass it also infects technology and on top of that not only is the flood a hive mind but it can absorb the knowledge of anything it assimilates. Last I checked the Necromorphs don't come sprinting at you with an assault rifle or a rocket launcher or a shotgun. And because the flood pure forms can manipulate body parts and limbs at will in real time, configure biomass to be defensive or offensive, Nimble or heavy in a near instant.
Halos flood are done dirty here. Lol. The Gravemind from the games is an infant of its species. When grown, they become a keymind, able to consume galaxies through their horde, able to infect non organic beings such as robots and artifical intelligences through what's called a thought plague, and can manipulate the fabric of reality through sheer willpower basically. A key mind was responsible for chasing humans from another galaxy where they had consumed all life, driving the forerunner species to create weapons capable of taking apart all complex organic life in their entire galaxy just to starve a key mind to death. Because a weapon of that size and power couldn't harm a key mind. The flood usually gets scaled with other universe scale threats in science fiction, frequently from Warhammer 40k. So yeah, baby gravemind is less than the necromorphs, but only just. Let it grow and the necromorphs would never stand a chance.
Maybe your best video thus far. Also I’m so happy you played Saints and Sinners. It may have come out a while ago but it still holds up as my favorite VR game. Into The Radius gives it some competition though. Also heard Arkham Shadow is pretty great too.
@@Player2GamingI myself loved ITR. My hot take is that it takes quite a bit from saints and sinners and makes it exponentially better (other than the melee combat).
Honestly, I don't think dying light is as hard to survive as people say it is. I mean like if you have kids or something you could probably live in the tower for free or you could just become a trader and chill out at a random safe House.
Another issue with surviving in Left 4 Dead is that you'd be infected almost instantly if you weren't a carrier like the protagonists. And if you are a carrier the military would either test on you or kill you most likely since you are still infectious to non carriers. The virus mutated to be airborne as well. You'd basically have to been in the middle of nowhere while being able to self sustain yourself. Maybe in a couple of years all the infected will have died off.
Such a good game. One of the first games I remember seeing as a kid. My dad had it and that cover art on the cartridge was so vivid and colorful I couldn’t forget it
The Left 4 Dead Green Flu virus was actually airborne originally, it's why it spread so fast and may still be air borne in the game as every interaction the main characters has with the non immune causes them to get infected. It should be up there high on the list, even first place.
Oh btw you forgot one zombie game KILLING FLOOR! The zombies(its called zeds) are pretty dangerous All of them are not infected or undead rather biological weapons and clones
I need to add something for the days gone zombie, actually at the end of the game with the post credit scene obrian tell you that they started EVOLVING and also adapting their alimentation, and now they slowly start eating thing like berries or any normal food. So yeah days gone zombie would probably a bit higher in the list, since they can potentially by immortal
That's not even the problem, their main problem is if allowed to reach Stage 4 of their hivemind, it's over. They're capable of basically disallowing FTL travel with their mind alone... They can just outright shut off FTL because "No."
@LuckyBilly09 It depends on the the stage the gravemind is in. I think in the games most we've seen is stage 2, nearly stage 3. But stage 4 and the galaxy is literally fucked.
26:10 the rat king from 2nd game Also back 4 bloods is very dangerous and would be pretty high on the list. Maybe not above dead space but def above left 4 dead
I think one can make a rather compelling case for either the flood or the necromorphs coming out on top. However i personaly would agree that the necromorphs are more impressive than the flood simply due to the fact that the flood cells are at least alive in some sense and form, while the necromorphs seem to possess mastery over life on a completely different level. Its questionable if the flood can infect a necromorph, it isnt as questionable to assume downed flood can be reused by the necromorphs immediately but not by the flood itself.
If we are talking lethality, I'd say C:DDA is easily first place by a good margin. Enter "Le Blob", interdimensional hive-mind thing, rearranging matter to suit it's needs in controlling everything. Apart from classic zombies, we have the following: • Soldiers, cops, tacticool enjoyers with their armor now part of their skin, • Towering hulks (as in The Hulk, probably 1:1 to the demolishers in Dying Light) crushing down any walls you think you are safe behind, • Acid spitters, • Zombie type that is literally invisible in the shadows (from regular shamblers to L4D type chargers), • Electrically charged zombies, "But wait", you ask, "isn't it just the L4D zombies?". They DO NOT DIE Any body needs to be pulped into a soft mess or else it just regenerates back after a couple hours. Also, everybody is infected, no exceptions. Do what you want with this information. Good luck trying to survive, I didn't make it, these are my l̴a̷s̶t̴ ̸w̵o̴r̸d̴s̸,̵ I̵̦̐ ̵̖̀͛ț̴̂h̶̩̾ĭ̸̡̄n̴̛̰̉k̵̯̆ ̷͚̆m̴̝͝y̶̰͛ ̵͔̯̂͘r̴̼̲̄͂e̴̝̽a̵̙̔͠l̸̺̦̓i̷̜̯̾t̶͇̖̅̍y̵̦̜͂̌ ̴̝̦̌ì̵̠s̸͓͚̀ ̷͔̾b̴͚̋r̷͕͙̕ȩ̸̱̊a̴͉̠͋k̷̲̀͊í̸̪̼ň̴̗g̶̤͂ͅ ̸̺͗ā̴̻͉p̷̼̝͂̓a̵̼̓͝r̸̮̔̌ẗ̴͓͖́̿
Staying away from the witch is easier said than done when the ai director decides lets spawn one right on top of you. that's what happened to my brother when i was playing left 4 dead 1 with him
A bit of an argument for Days Gone, not to make it top of the leaderboard, but just for some respect on its name. The virus is said to have a near 100% infection rate, with most survivors just having rolled the very rigged dice on fighting it off. The scientists also talk about how they're somewhat intelligent, getting fresh clothes and one of them wearing a watch. They also say that they're willing and able to eat plants, so letting them starve may not be so easy. Finally, in the secret epilogue O'Brian reveals himself to have been infected the whole time, the virus mutating to further intelligence/sentience while also adding the enhanced agility/strength. And while it may seem beneficial to get superhumans, O'Brian has a little moment where he does a small lunge towards Deacon in that interaction, implying he can't keep his humanity forever.
I could almost definitely survive any of them presuming I had inate immunity. I live in a suuuuuper rural area in the middle of gun country. It's also tornado country so everyone has a shelter, usually stocked with decent survival supplies.
The only problem I'm facing in a zombie apocalypse is I work at a hospital and my work station is right next to the door that leads to the rest of the hospital and it's always open so I have a 60 percent chance of surviving
Great video, but you didn't go into enough detail with the flood. They literally engaged in intergalactic war with the greatest species to ever live and wiped them to extinction.

im sorry but for resident evil 5 to my memory if u consider the literal first enemy that u even have to fight during that cinematic the enemy that u fight he had a fleshy thing jammed down his throat then got infected and according to how u described the parasite it counts

Im in the middle of switching. I’ve been using Wondershare Filmora because it’s what I started with. But I actually just started learning premiere pro, and for most of the animations you see I used After Effects.
Actually for me I ask am I already in a Hotzone? Where could be possible escape routes it's funnier if I'm in a Hotzone tho, if there is speed and variations I'm probably dead I can't be called back to base to figure out how to end them if I'm already one of them well if ya can't beat em join em.
Dying Light was such a banger. I wish wed get coop more like that in more games.. - I think the C Virus from RE6 is actually worse than Uroboros though..

Honestly, I don't think dying light is as hard to survive as people say it is. I mean like if you have kids or something you could probably live in the tower for free or you could just become a trader and chill out at a random safe House.
Now we’re talking about it taking over globally. If right now the Harran Virus takes over your town. How screwed would you be ?
@@Player2Gamingvery.
@@Player2GamingAs an Alaskan, I would be completely dead. Even in Southern Alaska (Anchorage), the sun sets at around 4 or so in the winter.
Don’t you guys get like 30 days of night too 😬
Volatiles, night runners bandits
Another issue with surviving in Left 4 Dead is that you'd be infected almost instantly if you weren't a carrier like the protagonists. And if you are a carrier the military would either test on you or kill you most likely since you are still infectious to non carriers. The virus mutated to be airborne as well. You'd basically have to been in the middle of nowhere while being able to self sustain yourself. Maybe in a couple of years all the infected will have died off.
Bro Zombies ate my neighbors is my ALL TIME Favorite game!
Such a good game. One of the first games I remember seeing as a kid. My dad had it and that cover art on the cartridge was so vivid and colorful I couldn’t forget it
@@Player2Gaming Yup, Imma get the boy and girl tattooed on me one day!
That’s sick !
The Left 4 Dead Green Flu virus was actually airborne originally, it's why it spread so fast and may still be air borne in the game as every interaction the main characters has with the non immune causes them to get infected. It should be up there high on the list, even first place.
So if we are talking about parasitic and dark magic...where is Half Life in this? Like the Headcrabs and all that?
Richard P. Redcock is such a professional
Even in the face of certain death. Still maintained his composure
Oh btw you forgot one zombie game
KILLING FLOOR!
The zombies(its called zeds) are pretty dangerous
All of them are not infected or undead rather biological weapons and clones
Adding that to the list of “I played every zombie game ever” video I am planning
@Player2Gaming hell yeah!
Happy Holidays homie 🎄 congrats on the 100k 🥳
Thanks man ! Happy Holidays to you too
I need to add something for the days gone zombie, actually at the end of the game with the post credit scene obrian tell you that they started EVOLVING and also adapting their alimentation, and now they slowly start eating thing like berries or any normal food. So yeah days gone zombie would probably a bit higher in the list, since they can potentially by immortal
The halo flood can infect a full galaxy in under a year with a single spore
That's not even the problem, their main problem is if allowed to reach Stage 4 of their hivemind, it's over. They're capable of basically disallowing FTL travel with their mind alone... They can just outright shut off FTL because "No."
@ a single gravemind probably has the power to destroy a flesh moon aswell
@LuckyBilly09 It depends on the the stage the gravemind is in. I think in the games most we've seen is stage 2, nearly stage 3. But stage 4 and the galaxy is literally fucked.
@ I mean stage 2 could destroy a planet maybe and 3 maybe a solar system as a push but 4 yeah we’re all dead 100%
26:10 the rat king from 2nd game
Also back 4 bloods is very dangerous and would be pretty high on the list.
Apart from classic zombies, we have the following:
• Soldiers, cops, tacticool enjoyers with their armor now part of their skin,
• Towering hulks (as in The Hulk, probably 1:1 to the demolishers in Dying Light) crushing down any walls you think you are safe behind,
• Acid spitters,
• Zombie type that is literally invisible in the shadows (from regular shamblers to L4D type chargers),
• Electrically charged zombies,
"But wait", you ask, "isn't it just the L4D zombies?". They
DO
NOT
DIE
Any body needs to be pulped into a soft mess or else it just regenerates back after a couple hours.
Also, everybody is infected, no exceptions. Do what you want with this information.

You also got amalgamations which are just dead animals.
The marker also encouraged human evolution so it’s closer to a farmer and humans are the crops
Watched the vid. Thought 'hey this guy is cool, video was entertaining. I'll sub' just to find out I was already subbed 💀
🤣
Staying away from the witch is easier said than done when the ai director decides lets spawn one right on top of you.
that's what happened to my brother when i was playing left 4 dead 1 with him
You forgot the most important one: Plants vs Zombies
Shucks 🌽
L4D zombie sprint + RE zombie durability + TLoU clicker hearing
= Very Dead
Great video Navy boi. All your videos are super dope!
Appreciate it Obi Wan !
Great video, but you didn't go into enough detail with the flood. They literally engaged in intergalactic war with the greatest species to ever live and wiped them to extinction.
Dude good job on this one man!
Thanks Coly ! I appreciate it man
Good shit bro keep up the great work!!
Thanks man ! Will do
Brother you never miss another banger x
I appreciate that my dude
Not enough people are commenting on the Sean of the dead fit! I do kinda miss the red ink stain tbh.
I wanted to. But this isn’t my shirt 🤣
Wow that was so cool please do a part 2
Thanks man. I’m actually thinking of doing a video of “playing every zombie game ever”. I made a list in a comment here that I’m asking everyone to add to so I don’t miss any
Great vid as always
Thanks Indigo !
im sorry but for resident evil 5 to my memory if u consider the literal first enemy that u even have to fight during that cinematic the enemy that u fight he had a fleshy thing jammed down his throat then got infected and according to how u described the parasite it counts
I love Dead Space and wish we got to see more of the Brother Moons!
Yeah those things are literally God Tier
This isn’t an infection, but you might be interested in checking out the Variants from Outlast and seeing your survival rate.
Man, you deserve to have way my subscribers. Soild vid
This guy kinda reminds me of Chris Pratt. Specifically his character on Parks & Rec.
Was it the short sleeve button up and tie 🤣 Andy is of the best characters on a tv show.
Damn. Its 3am when this video came out and now i gotta get up to make some food so i can really enjoy this
Tell you what. If you watch and comment after I’ll be up to respond. I’d love to hear what you think
@@Player2Gamingdope video man. It took me like half way through to notice you were doing a Louis cosplay! 🤣 nice touch
Just laid in bed perfect timing excitement every time you post a video
I knew I was about to get that bedtime watch from my night owls. What would I do without yall ? 😂
I love watchin the vids dude
I appreciate it dynoh
Plant Vs Zombies is one of the deadliest. If you don't have any plants you're cooked.
3:01 to 3:05. Brother. The Walking Dead has been dragging on for SO LONG they resort to "those mutant zombie cliche" to keep the show going.
Yeah I’m not a fan of it. Another reason I didn’t consider them canon for this video
Great video! I want to share this to any zombie fans, look up We're Alive , its a zombie audio drama and I personally think its better than most zombie shows out there and it deserves more recognition I have a feeling someone might enjoy it
Ooooo a zombie audio drama ?? And I’m about to take a long trip. Perfect 👌
Man I love days gone, such an underrated gem of a game. It's a shame we probably won't get a sequel
It really is something special. Sony needs to get their act together and give us more Deacon
Cousin Johnathon is going to see this and next Thanksgiving gonna be way more awkward
I’m actually really worried about this lol
the goat is back with another one
Good to be back 🫡
Underrated channel
I appreciate it Wilmo
Freaking love your videos, since the Zelda one I religiously watch your new videos. I use to play left 4 dead with my friends back in highschool on GameCube, good memories man, except for the bots. The bots sucks. A lot.😂
Dude I had no idea it was on GameCube. I need to find a copy for mine now lol
Most of humanity is screwed if they can run
Walking dead and dead rising you should be alright
What editing software do you use???
Im in the middle of switching. I’ve been using Wondershare Filmora because it’s what I started with. But I actually just started learning premiere pro, and for most of the animations you see I used After Effects.
@@Player2GamingAwesome! Thank you so much!

No mention of breathing outside around l4d infected being a bad idea
have you tried project Zomboid???
Actually for me I ask am I already in a Hotzone? Where could be possible escape routes it's funnier if I'm in a Hotzone tho, if there is speed and variations I'm probably dead I can't be called back to base to figure out how to end them if I'm already one of them well if ya can't beat em join em.
youtube didn’t even notify me about this 😥 happy ive found out now
Yeah YT has not been notifying older subs lately
Life always finds a way
- The Fly
u forgot about a type of zombie like no more room in hell and guts and balckpowder (hellspawn)
What type of zombie would that be ? I haven’t played those
25:20 - what happened to the UK & Ireland?
And here i thought state of decay 1 and 2's zombies would have made this list.
The Flood, then Necromorphs
Black ops 1. Verukt
Dying Light was such a banger. I wish wed get coop more like that in more games.. - I think the C Virus from RE6 is actually worse than Uroboros though..
The Chrysallid virus is pretty bad too for sure. I mean Las Plagas if it took over globally would’ve been a nightmare even. Uroboros being deadliest is just an opinion. There’s so many strains that could be equally terrifying
The charger was choking chickens. Duh.
Dead rising is my favorite!
Such a classic
Aw, he forgot Warcraft.
Leaving out State of Decay is a CRIME!
Is just missed the cut for this video. I put it In honorable mentions as it’s likely I’ll do a longer video of actually playing every zombie game
@ Ah ok. That makes sense.
What happened to back for blood?
I feel like virality is a little low for The Walking Dead
"Clothed jacob"
Id say PvZ> Halo> Deadspace off of how much said viruses have affected
