Nick never had a regular teenage / young 20’s normal type of life with friends and partying. So when he got suspended and started traveling around he lived those years just in his mid 30’s.
I believe once he discovered drugs / alcohol it changed nicks outlook on fighting. He never wanted to hurt people from the get go.

i actually think with nick it had more to do with women than anything. The drinking and the partying. Some part of him had to like the fame and attention from fighting too and he had no good outlets for that at the time and clubs would offer him money just to show up. A lot could have happened to nick in this period that caused such a drastic change.

I’ll preface this by saying I love your content and always get excited when I see an upload. Keep the content coming!!!!
    With that said:
Don’t think he has ever done anything but be himself. He has never been logical, rational, had self control or even do basic things that would of “furthered” his career. It’s what his true fans love him for. If ever changed he wouldn’t be the same person true fans support and idolize.
I’ve never in my life said, “if only one of the Diaz brothers had done this or that”. They do and say what they want regardless of common sense or what most people see has normal.
It’s what makes him a king who doesn’t change for anyone or anything. Even it doesn’t make sense to “normal” people and is perceived as detrimental, Nick is Nick don’t ask or expect him to change. Anyone doing so proves they know nothing about the man, the myth, the legend.
    Don’t be scared homie.
