John mentioned this video today from his show, it was a awesome interview now that James gunn handling DC gets me so excited for the future of DC.
Dammit, can John run an interview or what? He kept them comfortable, kept them laughing and knew exactly what questions he could and couldn't ask. Hat's off to you Mr Campea, great show!

Check out Chris Pratt's reaction at 30:20 when John mentions that AMC was having a "Captain America: The First Avenger"/"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" double feature. He seems genuinely excited by the sound of that double feature. The guy just strikes as a completely down-to-earth guy.

I have to say - Just from this interview, I think that Chris Pratt will carry this movie into success. If he's doing the Downey=Stark approach ( that you can't really tell the difference between the performance and the actor's personality), then starlord is going to be very, VERY likeable guy to watch. The promotion so far is great - advertise the movie, but not only to Comic geeks (like me), but to the general public, to make the movie a new, exciting franchise.
Great Job Amc, the live show ran a little late (couldnt watch it in europe, as it was 4am when it started), but it showed, that Gotg movie is well thought, planned and in the right hands. They had my cinema ticket at announce, but let's hope more people see this vid, so they can also be convinced into going.
I think Pratt will be a hit on the junkets like RDJ is. "You'll like this movie because you're smart." lol

You know what I like the most about this intreview? Everyone seems to really like what their doing. James Gunn looks real honest and ridiculously excited about the project, characters and how the film turned out. That makes me even more excited about this movie. Can't wait.
I don't if it's true or not, but Kevin Feige seems like a real comic book fan. He appears like he has not just the casual viewers, but the core comic book fans in mind as well. Damn I love Marvel.

One of the reasons why Marvel is succeeding is that they truly embrace the characters and the trailer work is excellent. DC/Warners could take a page from them....

Smallville was great and DC really missed the boat. They could had a jump at Marvel Studios before it existed. All they just had to do was start a DC Movie U with Welling as Superman using the show as a foundation...
Can't believe out of all of the possible characters, they asked about Cosmo and no one mentioned Adam Warlock.
Great Interview AMC!!! And I sincerely hope and pray that Guardians of the Galaxy is a huge financial hit. Because if it is, I think Marvel would be more comfortable to bring Ms. Marvel and Black Panther on the big screen. That and I would love to see Monica Rambeau in the MCU. She is probably 1 of the more underrated and powerful Marvel heroes.

JB Entertainingness ok, so what about the guardians made you think about howard the duck. just wondering because it kinda does feel sorta random. and how did you feel when you finally learned that howard the duck was actually in the movie?
Cuz Howard is a Strange character and there are lots of strange things here. Also some origins he soars thru space before landing on Earth so maybe he could have gotten lost midway?
And I was absolutely ecstatic! My grin was ear to ear!

its amazing to see gunn, pratt and feige here together to talk about GOTG. the atmosphere is so casual and funny. i think chris pratt is the perfect for star lord and he deserved a big blockbuster to lead and he is becoming a real star as he should. james gunn is awesome and really excited for the movie and kevin feige by now is a mastermind and marvel is in a wonderful place now, what they've achieved with their characters is amazing. dc should take notes. i cant wait to see the GOTG. awesome interviews

I'm a very skeptic guy toward AMC, but I gotta say GREAT JOB JOHN, excellent interview questions, great job AMC and whoever idea manage to get all these cool guys up live. It's awesome way to promote GOTG. And you can feel the atmosphere, all these guys are just happy to be here like a fun relaxing dinner table conversation.
I hope Guardian will do well so Warner Bros CEO can open their eyes and lighten up. If only AMC could do the same and get WB CEO, DC, and Zack, Batfeck and Henry get together to the same table, that's would be awesome, cause DC really need it, it's very depressing like funeral over there. But from what I see, DC & WB already/is/would be screw. That 2016 delay is a sign of failure.

yep, but Transformers is bigger and better known than Gaurdians (even I've only read about a dozen comics). I'll admit it looks like its the best of the Transformers movies, Wahlberg is a step up from Shia (but why is he even there in the first place?) etc, but it still doesn't look that good though and Bay will still follow all his usual crap formula that he's used in the past movies that will get idiots butts into cinema seats.

i wouldn't write it off, my friend can't stand comic's and superhero movie's yet he's stoked to see this that has to say something about the production values and the intrigue factor, if it is a success then it opens the door to a whole lot of other marvel movies that they maybe wouldn't risk making, so i am actually looking forward to what's to come in both the movie and what comes after.
***** The last TF movie (as much as it pains me to say) grossed over $1bn worldwide and its very likely that TF 4 will do the same even if US / domestically is probably lower (growing Chinese grosses will mean international should be higher than TF 3) .
It is unlikely that GOTG will top that - tho when I said smash I meant the best, most fun film of the summer which I still believe! As for biggest film of the year I think Hunger Games has a shot as does TF and maybe How To Train Your Dragon 2 which like Batman Begins to TDK is poised to be a much bigger sequel thanks to how well the 1st did on home video since it release.
This was pretty cool to get those three to come to this show. Other than the episode AMC had with the SchmoesKnow and Jeremy Jahns, the was a great show.
