    Seeing that tree fall was really cool! Sad that Universal and Six flags removed all these trees. Universal is a little different because they have nowhere to put a coaster, but it's still sad. The concrete stairs seem to be staying from the permits. I have heard people say that some or all of the stairs might be a waterfall feature, which would be Beautifull with the soaring coaster! Workers at universal today were calibrating the track that's for the inversion over the escalators, so that definitely hints towards track there soon, but definitely at night. This will hopefully be the second coaster construction series I get to see! Thanks for all the updates and I hope you're staying safe!

      Yeah I had good timing today with the free falling and coasters flying by. I wish parks didn't remove so many trees. You're right with Universal not having a choice. But Magic Mountain could remove old rides for new rides. These trees are 50+ years old. Tragic to see cut down. I've been hearing the waterfall rumor for a long time now. It'll be interesting to see if that happens and how it looks. Rad about F&F. I'll be there tomorrow for an update. And, yes, I'll be covering this new coaster at Six Flags just like I am with Fast & Furious.

  • @psychopompinc.646

    I've also heard the rumors of the stairs becoming a water feature. That would be pretty awesome. Especially since there is supposed to be at least one time where the coaster goes out over the edge. To boost this idea, there was an article in one of the OC papers about the new ride and they said the theme is supposed to be offroad motorbiking. If that's the case, then it would make perfect sense for there to be a waterfall and for them to replant a bunch of trees. I'd love them to put a bear statue fishing in the water too to honor the Golden Bear Theater, if there ends up being a big water feature. I'm also looking forward to the station flyby that happens according to the site drawings.
    Viper is supposed to be next up for a repaint, so hopefully that rumor is true. I've love to see the trains get new restraints as well to rejuvenate the ride.
    I imagine that they didn't remove Ninja first because they would have lost the 20 coasters in the park record until the new coaster is built. I can see them removing Ninja after the ride is open though. Especially since it's rumored that this is the last year for The Bat at King's Island.

    • @AmericasCoasterNetwork
      @AmericasCoasterNetwork  2 дня назад

      I think I forgot to mention in the vlog, but if it's an inverted motorbike, I imagine the vehicles will be very close to the ground and make it feel like you're ridding across the dirt.
      I sure hope Viper is next to get painted. Would squash all the rumors about it's removal.
      Last year for Bat at Kings Island? Meaning it's not going to reopen next year? That would be tragic. It's one of the better coasters in the park! Better than Banshee!

    • @AmericasCoasterNetwork

      Oh dang. I don't remember branches being close enough to grab. Sounds like they let it go too long without being maintained, and then overreacted when there was an incident.
      If Ninja and Superman got removed, I'm not quite sure if that area would be good enough for a giga. There's tons of walkways and other stuff in the way. Perhaps if the lifthill went towards Supermans tower? But I wouldn't want anything 300+ feet right next to the Sky Tower. Plus, Tatsu is already there.

      The issue, as I stated in the video, is that trees get removed and not replaced. Just as with the area around Full Throttle, Wonder Woman, and West Coast Racers. The last time they filled in an area with lush trees after constructing a coaster was with Tatsu in 2006. Again, all this was said and shown in the video.

Their press release on Nov 14th said first in North America, and anytime a company can tout first in the world, they'll do it in a heartbeat. Thento remove Eagles flight when they could have tightened the safety up on this ride I mean at max you could even spend 20 million to install a new state of the art Gondola system skii parks and Zoos do it all the time.......not one show with human entertainment and now Disney is falling in line with this scam removing the iconic Hyperion theater or at least not having shows........The top of the mountain has so much potential but has been in neglect for two decades ............SMH.........GREED ...............

The coasters are only "okay" because the park is really, really bad - like bottom of the barrel. Hope the new Six Flags can can come up with something to give the park a hint of character. @@gibiati8295 Honestly not trying to troll. I can understand why some might like Full Throttle - I like it too. Do I prefer Log Jammer? YOU BET! Short length launch coasters don't impress me and I'd like to see about a hundred things added to Magic Mountain before a roller coaster is given a second thought. Much prefer varied experiences and I find Magic Mountain to be more a showroom for different coaster models than it is a park. Some people really dig a no frills coaster park and that is really all Magic Mountain is. I spend my day lamenting the potential for the park itself to be a great experience separate of it's coasters. This is why I find Cedar Point, Knott's and even Disneyland to be much better parks even if the coasters are anywhere near as good at the later two.
