Holy smoke, this Rublev is such an incredible charming guy. No chance not to love him 😂 Always thought he is nuts while watching him playing tennis. Now he has one more fan.
2:09 now whenever I see Rublev, I will always remember when Danill called him "Jannick", Rublev went off and sulking for 10mins and came back and said: "If I'm jannick, then you're Davydenko!" lmao! Rublev is the best
I've been a fan of Andrey for years & it really is so awesome that more people are slowly realising what an absolute gem of a human being he is & a formidable force in this sport.. HE is what's good for tennis🔥
Lol Andrey I also would not allow myself to leave the basketball court growing up until I made a certain quantity of shots. That’s not what made you a pro. You are also an incredible athlete and naturally talented.
Rublev and Meddy are like brothers, meddy obviously the older one advising the youngtster, but the youngster isn't really listening too much, but he still manages to find his way somehow.
Sadly, he does have loud, obnoxious haters - any time anything goes wrong for him on the court, the abusive trolls jump at the opportunity to spew their hate... Also, most of the English-speaking match commentators & tennis media are really biased & derogatory against him.. But yeah, those of us who are sane absolutely adore the guy, justifiably so🤗
Carlos and Jannik give me, like many might noted, the "Nadal-Djokovic vibes"...not just from their game styles, but from personality and approach to the game as well. Nadal/Carlos off the blocks very fast and racing at the beginning of their careers...but, like Djokovic, we might see Jannik take his time to find his feet and be reborn at some point so good that he makes up for the lost years in super quick time and eventually overtake AND outlast Carlos [by that I don't mean by slugging out, but rather at top level] - Jannik somehow looks like that guy with more longevity out of the lot, I'd always watch out for a guy who believes he's got time, while still following his work ethic. --- another Carlos fan!
I like all these guys, they all seem very kind and down to earth. Rublev and Medvedev seem super nice. Sinner too. Compared to football players tennis players are on a different level. Way more educated, classy, no stupid haircuts, no full sleeve tattoos, etc
Rublev seems such a good and fun dude. But I'm really hoping Sinner gets far in the competition, at least semi-finals or finals...But it's going to be tough
