You don't really need the app. I just plugged in my Mic and recorded directly from the DJ software and added as many FXs as I wanted. :))

@@stacyrodriguez8713 So I have a DDJ 1000. I use it with virtual dj. Under Audio settings go to setting and click microphone. A Mic section should pop on and choose the mic you put on the controller. Once selected, when you record, it should record whatever you mix and it should also record your mic.

You can send it to yourself in a email so you can access it on your PC or MAC and transfer the file just like you do your music downloads...
