I tried tubes and they still wouldn’t hold air. I did what you did with harbor freight solid wheels. A little heavier but dependable now!

Absolutely, I figured 15.00 a tube so 60.00 to replace all or spend 88.00 and never have to worry about it again. Thanks for watching, commenting and letting people know by the comment that they have a harbor freight option also. Have an awesome day.

Little tip, can fill it with expansion foam for all of $2

I was thinking about doing that, thanks for watching and suggestion.

How do you know when to stop filling the wheels with foam?

@ little by little and put water in it to activate the foam. I watched a RUclips video for my snowblower tires

I have the same carrier and so far the tires have held up but based on all the reviews, I’m sure it is just a matter of time before I’ll be doing the same project. My last 2 deer rode out in the sled so it has only gotten light use so far. What is your method for strapping everything on when hauling out out? I inadvertently rubbed the paint off the top of the riser on my V3X after the load shifted a little going over a log while pulling one out in the dark last year. I used a couple ratchet straps but probably should have had a couple more to secure things a little better.

I like the bungees with the holes in them too be able to adjust the length. The issue I have with those is if u go over a log the metal hook slides on the arms, but I think I have a solution to add some “d” rings with hose clamps to keep the bungee hooks in place. I usually find my deer dead and then go back to the car for the cart or sled and I just leave all my equipment there and just take my kill kit back with me and a GoPro, osmo pocket or now a 360 action camera I’m trying out.

any other upgrades you had to do with hawk? anything with the handle collapsing with the weight of the deer?

I have not experienced that issue and I have had a few heavy deer in it. Maybe I’ll look at mine and see if I could drill another set of holes and wing knobs to possibly avoid that issue. Have u experienced that issue?
