A long time ago an all-powerful ghost known as Spooky assaulted the ancient Pac-People before a brave knight sealed him away. Years later, he was unleashed and enacted a plan to get rid of the Pac-People forever. Pac-Man defeated him and, as he was being sealed away, Spooky yells "My ghosts will free me again!" That time has now come, and the plan has not only resumed but intensified.

Pac-Man World: Spooky's Revenge is an alternate conclusion to the Pac-Man World Trilogy, taking inspiration from all throughout the series to make one huge Pac-Man celebration.

I think the thing that intrigued me the most was the most is the music score. I was definitely reeled in by the new score that you arranged but when it got the Pac Village hub level I was just like, "NO factor5fanatic didn't. Yes it is! AWWWWW that music. Hearing that melody again brings so many memories back."

Besides being prone to crashing this is off to a great start. Mechanics, level design, spritework, music, and even cutscenes had me impressed. Nails the familiar PMW2 feel, and a good conversion to 2D. So far it's delivering on what I imagined when you first announced it, keep up the good work.
Definitely a thought out little project we got here
Not to mention that apperently the Villain from "Ghost Zone" made his appearance on the panal before the "To Be Continued" screen

Looks good so far. I liked the reference to Sky Kid at the end of the boss fight, and I'm very interested in seeing what you're going to do with the Ghost Lord.
I still can't play this yet, but hopefully I'll be able to soon (the broken computer is pretty old and is supposed to get replaced, but I'm not sure when it will. I might look into getting the old one fixed and see if doing that isn't too expensive).

For some reason, my computer thinks that the software has a virus.
Like it says that it has detected a virus.
@@MissJackietheLakester Can you give me more details? I scanned it before uploading it and it came back clean. Sometimes antivirus software gets protective over uncommon or rare applications. But if it legitimately has a virus, I'd like to know more so I can pull the link and recompile it if necessary.
After looking into things, it appears false positives with Game Maker games isn't an anomaly so I assume that's what this is. Which antivirus do you use?
@@lunamorley I just used the default Windows antivirus software, though it's not the first time it has detected a false positive in a fan game. I've heard that Clickteam Fusion games have a similar issue.
@@lunamorley ye it says Couldn't download - Virus detected when downloading it in edge i went on firefox and could download it there and windows defender pops up saying it detected it as a virus i hit run anyway and now it says this app can't run on your PC ive downloaded plenty of gamemaker games b4 and usually dont have any issues
@@jimmyjam7904 It's also odd because this isn't even the first Game Maker game I've released or distributed and this is the first I've heard of this happening. So that's fun. That said, I'm gonna try to see what I can do. Maybe it's the location of save data or it being a standalone application? Maybe compiling it as an installer or a zip folder would yield better results? I'm not sure, but it's worth a shot. I apologize for the inconvenience.
