Thanks for highlighting the necessity for warm kit for novices! So frustrating seeing people in flip-flops on the fells in summer! Lots of newbies don't realise how much colder and more exposed the tops are

Please please please if you’re a beginner hiker be careful not to do the striding edge route on Helvelyn!!!! It is one of the most dangerous walking routes in the UK…. If you are a beginner you would be putting yourself and others at risk 🏔️♥️

power couple! i find it hard to even walk in the cold, hard to know how much layers to wear as you will sweat the more u walk, you guys would love the mountains in the north of ireland
This is one of the hikes that’s on my list , managed to do the 3 peaks this year , this hike is for next year to do . Looks so good.
That’s amazing the 3 peaks is hard, I’ve not done it yet! It was beautiful as long as you have good visibility! X
@@zoehague I did each peak separately not in one go , did snowdon in March when it was still snow and ice , scarfell pike august ( no views on both of theses) Ben Nevis September and had a cloud inversion at the top …. Can’t wait to do this hike some point next year and hopefully the views

Helvelyn not suitable for novices in my opinion
The route we took was super easy, steps and paths the whole way. My dad took me and my sister up it when we were 8 and 5! Agree certain routes aren’t for novices
