This hotel gives me so much nostalgia. When I travelled to American I stayed here both times and it just reminds me of my childhood. I absolutely loved staying here. ♥️ I loved the food too. Mickey mouse waffles were a must.
This is our new favorite resort!! The Skyliner is the BEST and the resort grounds are gorgeous. The quick service good is super yummy and the rooms are great. The ceiling fan and automatic bathroom fan were so appreciated! Can’t say enough about this resort. We REALLY love it!! (This is coming from someone who typically stays at the GF. We loved it enough to leave it behind.)
I stayed here in October with my family. I absolutely loved it. I was a first timer at Disney. We stayed in the Aruba village and it was 30 seconds away from the skyliner.
Totally agree. The Skyliner is amazing. Fast, efficient, quiet and wonderful views. Going to stay at Caribbean beach next time because of it. Hoping they expand the Skyliner to other attractions and resorts.
Steer clear from the pirate rooms! The beds are so uncomfortable, we had such trouble sleeping and couldn’t switch rooms due to the resort being full, so we were told.
I've heard this so many times. It's sad considering the price. Disney really should replace the mattresses. Nothing worse that a bad night's sleep on vacation!

This is our new favorite resort! For sure give it a try. (If you’re looking for room recommendations I suggest staying in the Jamaica area right off the bridge. I think it’s building 45. You’d be sandwiched between the Skyliner and the pool/restaurants. We loved that area.) 😉

Thank you. We usually stay at port Orleans riverside. This trip we’ve been taking about changing things up and we’re looking into Caribbean Beach. This put us over the top.
We are planning to go do Disney for my 30th birthday at the beginning of 2022 (hopefully things have calmed down by then.....) but this is the resort we were most interested in and this video sold me on it even more. Crossing my fingers our trip works out. Thank you for this video!
Max Bolyn it was great! there’s skyliner stops near both aruba and jamaica (aruba is near what is technically riviera’s skyliner stop) and the resort as a whole is so quiet and well themed! it was so relaxing to walk through the resort grounds-the theming is amazing! the rooms are a little small, but given that it’s a moderate it’s not unexpected. i haven’t stayed at pop century before so i can’t really compare the two, but i will say that with all of the new renovations, CBR feels really luxe for its price point and was well worth it for my group. hope that helps! :)
Planned my first solo trip to Disney, this will be my 3rd stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort in 29 years, first time with the Sky Liner. I think it’s the perfect home base. Thanks for all the information.
It is our favorite! We stayed in May this year. We switch from AoA little mermaid room and it was only $10 more a night! Sebastian's Bistro was the best restaurant we ate at during our trip, including the signature restaurants.
In Florida we have a fruit that's a cross between an orange and a tangerine and it's delicious. It's called a tangelo. It also peels more like a tangerine than an orange.
What a great and thorough review! Not sure how you eat and drink so much on these tours but it all looked yummy. We have stayed at this resort many times but I have to say wow...this is a huge transformation. Nice to see that there are only five areas now (instead of the original seven) and they still kept that tropical colorful theme. Old Port Royale is exactly what the resort was missing before - an all in one area where you can check in, make reservations, dine and shop. And having the skyline makes it easier to get to Epcot and HS. Definitely want to stay there again.
SO good to see this video!! I had seen older reviews and opinions about this resort and was a little worried, but seeing the renovations and everything has me excited!! I will be there with my family in June!
My family and stayed there in August. My kids could have stayed at the pool and skipped the parks 😆. We just missed skyline opening which was a bummer. The mobile order worked great for the quick serve and Sebastian's was very good. I did request Barbados but we got the furthest room in Trinidad and it was a 9 minute walk to main area but we were super close to bus stop. It was a pirate room too which we didn't ask for. Overall, great place and the pool (for us) was worth returning to on future trips.
Appears that the much needed renovations are completed. This could be a legit "moderate" alternative to our favorite, Port Orleans Riverside. Normally we go the first week in December, and POR can be completely booked by March, so this may serve as another choice---thanks for your reviews.
Much prefer French Quarter; mainly for it's compact size and one bus stop. We did Old Key, and we quickly discovered that it's a good idea to go to the FIRST bus stop. The one nearest our rooms was the last stop, and often the buses would arrive completely full. And this was only a few weeks after they reopened.
Just saw this Video. Loved it!!! We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort years ago and loved it then. This was wonderful to see the changes, etc. For a moderate resort it really cannot be beat! Would stay there again in a minute.

Molly. Could you please do a review of Disney’s Old Key West Resort? The first DVC resort is still first in our hearts and I think others might appreciate the relaxing atmosphere!
I stayed at this resort about 10 yrs ago and loved it! And then yacht club about 6 yrs ago and really loved it as well. In April I will be staying at Port Orleans, I want to try out the feel at different resorts since I don’t go very often. I do like how they have the sky liner option though.. but I’m not changing my reservation! 😝

We stayed there back end of October and it's an awesome resort. We where in Aruba, literally a 2 min walk to the Skyliner and we got to Hollywood Studios within 10 mins!! Epcot took a little longer but only by a couple of minutes. This was our second visit to Caribbean Resort and looking to go back again in 2021.
@@daniellebrewer8141 yeah it is a fair walk and the shuttle bus can at times be a pain as it does get full at certain times. We usually planned for our meal after we had finished with the park (if early enough) or we had our meals out using the dining plans where we could. I think we only had a meal three times in the two weeks there at the food courts.
I actually was upgraded to a pirate room theme with the lake view when I went there with my girlfriend and her mother. Was actually really nice, and this is a nice resort.
Just found this-so glad I did before our Feb. 2021 trip! I had never heard of those activities for kids either so I'm excited my daughter could have some fun exploring with other kids! Thanks! (and as I saw your Skyliner crawl also, thanks for the reviews on fun "adult" drinks" :)

Your videos are the best, Molly! I'm watching them all. When you do resort tours, can you point out if the resort has any coke freestyle machines near the rooms? Caribbean beach had some machines among the neighborhoods during renovation, but I'm not sure if they are still there. Also, if any of the other resorts have the machines among the neighborhoods or only in the main restaurants. Thanks!
Going to be at this resort the following weekend and have a preferred room package and requested trinidad north. thanks to your video I caught it 7 days ahead and now on hold with Disney to change the request to Barbados. Trying to be sandwiched between the Skyliner and Old Port Royale! Thanks!

We stayed there this past June and weren’t that happy with the menu. Almost felt like you were forcing the food after a couple days. The place is super big like stated so be pre pared. We decided to go back to our normal spot port Orleans If you want a food variety choose a different place
I stayed at Caribbean Beach my last two trips. I love Sebastian’s Bistro! I wasn’t big on the main quick service, and finally tried Spyglass toward the end of my second trip. So much better! A much calmer environment and the food was great. I love the Skyliner! I think Cay is pronounced as “key” when it’s an island. Great review. So fun to relive my memories through your videos.
Bringing back good memories of my Jan 2019 stay there. I wished that turquoise T-shirt ( you showed in the gift shop ) was in stock when I was there, they only had two smalls. :-( Always cool to see Banana Cabana get a little attention, it feels like it's often overlooked. I just wasn't feeling the upscale prices of Sebastians so I went here instead. Thoroughly enjoyable, the pirate theme was neat.

Usually stay at Port Orleans but will try Caribbean beach this time. It looks awesome! Of course being near the skyliner also helps.

Staying at CBR again in 24 days! The updated rooms are perfect, and the cast members here are great!

I did my DCP here and at the Skyliner in the fall :) the "neighborhoods" are just referred to as "islands"
