In this video, I tested the most popular blade in China - Butterfly VISCARIA. It is a blade used by Grand Slam player Zhang Jike. This time I tested three pieces of VISCARIA from different years, 2014, 2016, 2018. Let's see what is the difference.

Many thanks for so detailed comparison...still i have doubts when are years code Viscarias so generalized. This blades are made from wood and piece from piece can be diferent , despite any influence of year can be in play too (shape . average weight)...I own Viscaria code Q 91gramm and it is very , very good blade ,with rubbers Big Dipper and Dawei C1...
I recently bought an 0 serie zhang jike alc, 95gr. Its very powerful and soft like the old viscaria. Compared to a zhang jike q serie 88 gr the difference is huge, the q serie handle is thinner and blade vibrates more, giving a wooden feel. Also the sweetspot is better in 0 serie
I just wanted to confirm that you are referring to Zhang Jike ALC not Viscaria right?

Great and very informative review. Can you do a review on Freitas ALC? It has almost the same structure as the viscaria but has a limba outer layer instead of koto. Would be interesting to see the difference with a softer wood outer layer.
It would prob give more vibration
i bought a o-serie and hope it will be nicer, than the new stuff, testet a p-Serie and it was really nice

How do all these offensive carbon blades compare to blades like Stiga Clipper?
I am looking to upgrade from my Butterfly Primorac to either Stiga Clipper or Mizutani ZLC, but I am afraid that the Mizutani ZLC might be too fast.
Also, do you think I should switch back to Chinese rubbers to improve my technique, even if I make more mistakes than with euorpean rubbers?

Hi Witsanu, I think Viscaria golden is softer, and the dwell time is longer. And the feeling is not very crispy.
试了 NEO 蓝海绵省套，结果才打了一个月多点就开始气泡了。反手用橙套却没有这个问题。上网查了好像是蓝海绵的质量问题。想请问建议用哪种狂飙3的海绵可以代替呢？

In general, which are usually easier to use for amateurs and physically weak players either inner alc( like long 5, innerforce alc and so on) or outer alc blades like viscaria?

Thanks Gan, I am using Vis 2020( U code), FH Pro H3 neo 39 and BH Pro H3 Neo 37 - I find my FH very powerful but BH the blade too thick and not confident to loop - any blade or rubber suggestion? I am considering Harimoto inner force ZLC ?
I had the same combo with the same backhand problem. I switched to tensor rubber on the backhand and its softer spinner easier to punch block or BH topspin.

Yasaka sweden extra. If you want a tiny bit more speed Korbel is good too.
I haven't played allround blade for many years. For my point of view its ebenholz NCT V.

It lapperntly looks that you are excellent and comparable with all three blades in the video, however, the analysis of your feelings are different.

I have a T version of VISCARIA, how do you rate T version in terms of softness, feeling, power, speed, dwell time, spin & control ❓keep it up your spirit for TT🏓👍🏽 I also have Tiago Apolonia ZLC. My preference is spin & dwell time in blade. What do you recommend which one I should keep as my main blade TA ZLC OR VISCARIA ❓
Hi Vishal, thanks for watching my video. The feeling of T VIS is softer . And the power is at the medium level. For the dwell time and control, vis of t version is better. For the spin, the Apolonia is better. So my suggestion is to keep Apolonia as your main blade.

Do you recommend Lin gaoyuan ALC, zhang jike ALC or Viscaria V series? Thank you
lin gao yuan and zhang jike is easier to play than viscaria.
@@tabletennisgan7584 I currently have a Vis S series and feel that it is very fast when you hit hard and sometimes the ball would just miss the table. I would like to get a backup blade that is a little slower but with more control so I'm looking at choosing either the Zhang Jike ALC or Lin GaoYuan. What are the differences between these 2 blades in terms of characteristics?

I recently tried a Lemuria VIS (a cheap imitation of the Viscaria) and was really impressed by the speed and control.

@@sumandas9487 you may try it with Japanese or europe rubber. It is easier for amateur.
