I wonder how long it's going to take for the flooding to go down

I feel sorry for everyone who's extremely affected by the storm. My country is often visited by typhoons/storms that's why i can relate with you guys. If it's the first time it's happened to you, you can bet it might happen again. So i guess you better take note about the months or the season it usually happens so you all will be ready when the time comes. Please keep safe everyone!!

Wow they sure are getting lots of rain! Water seems awfully deep in some areas!

Actually, the flooding in this coastal area - San Luis Pass at the southern end of Galveston Island - is due mainly to the storm surge - not rain. The low pressure system results in higher than normal water levels causing flooding, whereas the inland flooding on the mainland is due mainly to excessive precipitation.

People pay big money to "live on the water". Till the house gets blown away.

I'm not familiar with this area but seeing that water slide attached to the house tells me they have flooding issues often?? Just a guess??

No, alot of people have steps and swim when normal.

Believe in & on Jesus Christ & that He died for you, was
buried & ROSE again to life the 3rd day as it is written
in the scriptures & call upon His Holy name for remission
of sins, then follow Him and you will be saved. Repent and
Believe the Gospel, be Born Again in Christ and be SAVED.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. REPENT and ask your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for forgiveness!! Lord, I pray to you in your name and ask that you help all those afflicted by this terrible storm...God Bless you all

Looks like the population in the gulf coast states will be moving now; this has become an every-year event!
Come to think of it; looks like the migration of climate refugees is also under way in California too! Epic wildfires have become an every year nightmare too! Wonder why?
