      Great video but isnt the slope of the last one -9/7 because if you do y2-y1/x2-x1 it would be -5-4/7-0 which would be -9/7 right?

      You do now Marilyn Ortega all you have to do is SUBSCRIBE and I can be there 24/7 to help with those lessons!
      Sounds like you might want to start a study group with some of the other students in your class...you could all watch the video lesson and then do your homework together:) I've had many students tell how helpful that has been, and then the class average goes up too...lol!

    dude, i scoured the internet for help trying to find the equation for a perpendicular line where x=-13 passing through point (3,9). i was ready to just turn in the assignment incomplete when you started solving it. fan-freaking-tastic

Mine just happens to be that of full explanation...that's how I learned and found it was the most helpful for me, so that's how I try to teach.       that part of the video too where you explained why the perpendicular is just a reciprocal and an opposite sign (you used a blue book) was very, very helpful!

    MY GOD , YOUR CHANLE IS SO HELPFUL... PLEASE KEEP EXPLAINING THE WAY YOU DO. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM I SEE IN OTHE VIDEOS IS THAT THEY ASSUME THE VIEWER ALREADY KNOW SOME STEPS AND THEY SKIP, JUST LIKE SOME TEACHERS IN SCHOOL, BUT NOT YOU, AND I THANK YOU FOR THAT.

    What level of math are you studying right now? This particular subject is taught near the end of Algebra 1, near the beginning of Algebra 2, and reviewed again in the beginning of PreCalculus. I LOVE my PreCalculus book written by Blitzer.

    this is fabulous! my daughter is in 7th grade taking algebra 1 for HS credit (not the best idea in retrospect but she is getting an A so okay). BUT..as nice as her teacher is she is NOT great at explaining things and breaking problems down. She got this information IMMEDIATELY after watching your video (and so did I, I forget much of this) and finished her homework in no time. THANKS!!! we will be watching you for every unit the rest of the year.

    learning algebra 1 in 7th grade and geometry in 8th. my Elementary/Junior High is advanced, I hate it and love it because i know it will be easier in HS. Thanks, this video was so helpful, got an A on the assessment.

    Thank you so much, I've been really struggling in my Year 10 algebra; for the past week I've been struggling due to my teachers dreary explanations and did not understand this at all. It's funny, because just within half an hour of watching your videos on gradients and this, I've seemed to pick it up with no problem. So, yeah. Awesome, thanks!
