What's so pleasing about your videos Jamie, is that you really appreciate your situation...your environment, Sherpa, the van etc. It's all richly deserved and nothing to do with luck because you've worked hard for what you've got and learned to crave very little else. You're content and happy just as you say at the end of this vid. The sky is beautifully moody. Looks a bit too warm and humid for me, but still beautiful.

When you were lounging in the van after your walk, I was just thinking the same thing, Jamie, (about how lucky you are)! You have practically everything you need right there in your cozy van: Food (that sandwich looked yummy! It looked like some sort of egg salad?), water, coffee, shelter, a lovely view, and a faithful Fluff by your side. What a good life it is =) Thanks, as always, for "taking" us along with you: It really is like joining you on a lovely adventure, and makes my day to watch your videos.
What a beautiful day for Sherpa. See the little colt -or filly- canter up to its mother near the van and imagine these ponies taken away to the mine pits. I was shocked as a child when I learnt this. Today they are protected and the nightmare is over.

Poor Sherpa, can't go anywhere without his admirers finding him. Even the beautiful horses came to apologize for their cousin's rude behavior. The colt was beautiful, and it looks like his mum is expecting another one. Sherpa's table manners are better than most people's I could name. This excursion highlights why Sherpa can out run Key and Nook.

I remember going to Dartmoor as a young teen & seeing the horses. One even came up to me looking for food. I was in heaven!
Most of the horses will just be fine and ignore you, but it just takes one encounter with a grumpy horse to make you worried.
