When my hubby proposed to me, I did not realize that he'd actually proposed:
After living together for 2 years we were having a deep conversation about our parents' divorces.
He then turns to me and says, "But WE'LL never get divorced, right?" and I said, "Well for that to even be possible we'd have to get married first." and he says something to the effect of, "Oh good, I was so afraid to ask" and then he starts grinning like an idiot.
I was perplexed.
I remember calling my sister the next day and saying "I not sure if I'm engaged- I think Rob thinks he proposed to me" and he continued to act giddy and weird.
A few days later, I can't stand it anymore, and I finally grab him and say, "Did you actually ask me to marry you or what?!" and he looks like a deer in the headlights and hedging his bets, replies, "Only if you said yes" lol.
Almost 20 years later I'm still happily married to the goofball :).
I wish you two a lifetime of happiness.

Exactly what I was thinking while watching...the images aren't high quality, and some of the clips aren't perfectly shot, but it doesn't matter. The important thing is to show how much she means to him, every single day. It stands out so well. This video is quality because it is thoughtful, sweet and kind of funny all at the same time. I definitely like and enjoy more a video like this over a perfect, flawless proposal (with the best lighting ever etc.) video which lacks of emotion, though, without a doubt. Just take this as a 19 year old's opinion on the spot, who might be too young to even be taken seriously. I still have a long way to go and loads to learn. Everyone is different, and believes different things. I, personally, like anybody else, could change my views on certain things (for example on what I'm writing about rn) in the future...who knows. So it's fine, either if you agree with me or not. I hope no one feels offended. Diversity is what makes everything so great :)
