  • www.truthforlife.org || By: Alistair Begg - Daniel Chapter 4 records Nebuchadnezzar’s journey from rebellion to praise, a hard path marked by humiliation. Alistair Begg explains that God does not relent in His gracious pursuit of sinners, but brings men and women face to face with His greatness so that we can appreciate our need. The wonder of the Gospel is that this God, who is completely sufficient and perfect in who He is, humbled Himself in Christ Jesus so that we can be reconciled to Him.

Pastor Begg's comments at the beginning of this video about JB Phillips book, Your God is too small, and an often heard comment like "I like to think of God as..." bring to mind my response to non-believers who try to use science as part of their explanation as to why there is no God. When I hear such comments I typically come back with this reply. "I like to think of science as man's exploration of God's toolbox."
I love science and really enjoy absorbing it but it does not lead me away from God but closer to him. Even with our limited understanding, I am simply amazed by the clockwork of our universe and the all-knowing God who set it all in motion.
I realize this is way off the path of the pastor's message today but somehow this came to mind and I could not help but share it.
I wonder what Pastor Begg would have to say on that subject. In any case thank you Pastor for today's message and God bless 🙏

I am reading a child's devotional book on science and God. You could not have said it any better than "man's exploration of God's toolbox." Thank you and may God put people in your path to show them the gospel through science.
