Bought the Hoodlum when it was on sale late last year. The 26" frame was out of stock until recently. Thanks for the code. Duplex Lite will be on order ASAP.

There are quite a few packs that are $400 or more. The K4 5000 is $700 and it’s not even Sika bro. This backcountry hunting is not cheap because there aren’t many of us that do it.
Good stuff! About to drop the hammer on a Tactical frame to compare with my Duplex Lite.
Why not use the meat shelf?
I was thinking the same thing
I just think some people don't like to because of a convenience thing. They'll use game bags and rope those into a drysac or the camp bag that kifaru has. Or if they have a larger pack drop it into one of those. I like using the meat shelf tho. I have also not used it.

Obviously you are a Kifaru fanboy lol. Don’t feel bad. So am I. I run a Hoodlum on either a tactical, or the ultra light (not made anymore) frame. Honestly don’t know which one I like better. I too run a guide lid, 2 large and 1 medium on the back and 2 large on the belt. I have also packed half an elk out and that as a brutal pack out of he Gila!
They are one of the best pack's on the market! Even if your not a "fan boy"😊👊

I’m the same size as you. What size tactical frame did you get 24” or 22”?

You had mentioned that you had the duplex lite, so I'm assuming you had the 24" stays? How do you like the 22" stays compared to your old frame? I am a little shorter than you, but got a 44 mag with 24" duplex lite. Wondering if I should have gone with 22" tactical. Did you have any issues attaching the hoodlum to the 22" frame? Thanks!
