Bruuuucceeeee ❤ so many little tweaks we all get to share to make everything from almost perfect to perfect ! My center and door speaker blew out actually at dealer rn waiting on replacement install . Was going to get door speakers from bruce but ill let my warranty pay for these for now. Rip to your clips .. man as careful as I am im always snapping a clip with every new install myself 😂
Yeah, it's such a great car and I'm glad that the community is large enough where we can get ideas to help each other to make it even better. 💪🏾 Good luck with your speakers and thanks for watching!
So just wondering - what do you feel is lacking with the B&O system? In the past 30 years of messing around with car audio systems, I've never gained much in the way of improved sound by simply upgrading factory speakers. The B&O system in my old B8 S5 was actually pretty decent, and I saw a huge improvement across the board by simply adding a JL Microsub to improve low frequency response. I would actually recommend adding an aftermarket sub before digging into the door and A-pillar speakers. I just completed a full install (speakers and DSP amp) in my F-Type R - the factory Meridian System in that car is unbelievably horrible. Love the channel!
First and foremost, thank you for your support! Now that I've replaced all of the door speakers, as well, the clarity is more pronounced, especially at lower levels. I didn't realize how mushy the B&O system sounded before. Again, it was fine, but not nearly as clean and bright. Also, the new door woofers add significantly more bass that is both punchier and deeper than before. I had (have?) plans to replace the sub, but now I'm questioning that because the door woofers have added so much, taking a lot of the stress off the factory sub. I'm sure a sub upgrade will blow my mind and finish off the build, but the improvements so far are quite impressive. Apparently, matching Ohms and tones has been challenging for some owners looking for aftermarket solutions, but the speakers that Bruce Miranda sourced have been very nice and work well with the stock B&O amps. Thanks for sharing and for watching!
@@D730-u8m I'm not sure about the side dash speakers. They are only used for the 3D effect so I didn't change those because I keep that setting off. If you go to www.brucemiranda.com you might be able to see what he suggests for those locations.
So after getting to look at how the clips are placed, what would be your recommendation to get those front clips out without breaking them? Tool? Different approach?
@@christosv2291 I honestly think the clips on my speaker grille were brittle, possibly from the sun. I keep my car in the garage, but since I bought the car used, it may have spent more time in the sun. I watched other methods of removing the grille, but the clips still broke rather easily. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what I could do differently, other than having a professional do it. Fortunately, enough clips remained to keep it secure without any rattles or vibrations, tho. Sorry I couldnt help more, but thanks for watching!
Dang. That stinks. Especially on a newish vehicle. I’m glad you got those clips, the rattle would have been unbearable. I picked up one of those cheap Chinese video endoscopes that have lights and magnetic tips. That would have been perfect for the recovery aspect of this. These kinds of things never go as smooth as we expect.
They sure don't! 🤣 I was literally searching blind for those clips. Fortunately, the finished product has been great. Got the doors done, too, but ran in to some trouble getting the A-pillars off so I stopped there for now. Video of the doors should be coming soon! Thanks for sharing and for watching!
I have a 21 A7 with the B&O 3D Premium 16 speaker system and it make these annoying pops and clicks. They sound a little like static pops or rock chips hitting the windshield. They are random, and vary in intensity but are not accessivly loud. You can hear them more clearly when listening to talk radio, sports radio at lower volumes. Does your system makes these noises? I took it to Audi North Atlanta, they replaced the amp which did nothing. They then told me they heard the same noises is two other cars on their lot so this must be a condition of this particular system and would not take any further action. I'm trying to find someone who has had this issue and figured out how to fix it since Audi won't.
@@matth8181 No, I don't hear anything like that. Did the dealer try replacing the dash speaker(s)? If they're popping, it sounds like they may have blown, just not bad enough to be obvious. Hope you get it sorted soon. Thanks for watching!
@@angelodesmond7187 I got the speakers from www.brucemiranda.com and I believe the center dash and the front door midrange are all the same 4" Faital Pro 4FE32. Two of the mounting tabs needed to be removed before installation, which Bruce did before shipping, but the upgrade was totally worth it. So much brighter, cleaner and louder.

Молодец, что снял такое видео. Тоже планирую менять этот и боковые динамики в торgедо на SQ5 B9.
Thanks for watching and good luck!

I only upgraded sub with Cerwin Vega spare tire woofer and will not touch any other speaker in the car. Difference with just subwoofer is INSANE !
What size should I look for to replace side dash speakers ? And maybe some sugestion to model of speaker?
