  • Raising biracial children comes with its share of challenges. As parents, our approach may be a little different than most. But it works for us. Please give this video a thumbs up and subscribe for more. Also, please send us your questions. We’d love to answer them and keep the conversation going.

It is so sad that we even have these conversations with our children. Unfortunately children have to be aware of sick people who could do them harm. Wishing you the best!!!!

I know. Sad, but true. I wish I could say it’ll get better. But with all the things that has happen over centuries that continue today say otherwise.

Why must [those] opposed to bi-racial relations be deemed "sick"? Self-victimization has fostered your ignorance.

@WeatherAnchorMama There are certain wh*tes who NEED racism, and not ashamed to admit their prejudice and biases. It's not going to stop, and why would they... most wh*tes have no interest in eradicating racism. The most issues biracial have from Black people is not being very knowledgeable on Black American history, culture, and Black issues. That said... what are parents teaching their biracial children?

It’s so sad that this conversation has to be had about children, but I’m glad you’re teaching them early. My son went to a predominantly white school and he came home in tears because someone wrote the n-word all over his notebook. I had to sit down and explain to him about himself and his history & to never be ashamed of who he is and to always love himself and who he is.

It's important to have these conversations. Proud of both of you because people of color are Always looked at and treated as "lesser than." We live in America and the history of this is country concerning ppl of color is proof enough.

So true. I wish that weren’t the case, but it’s so important. We don’t want them to be paranoid. We just want them to be prepared.

I’m part of a Facebook mom group and I got tore into today for allowing my son to wear a bonnet and plaits. I was told only white moms allow this a black mother would never allow this. I was told I was setting him up for failure within the black community. And for a moment I felt like I was failing my son as the women were saying. But after watching some of your videos I feel a bit better.

Subscribing. We are taking in two mixed race (bland and white) twins this week. We are white. Twins are 2.5 years old. Their mother abandoned them and ran. We are fostering them, with the intent to adopt. We literally just called our social worker and told them we will take them. We are rushing to learn now. We have two biological sons, 11 and 13. We live in a 99% white, rural, Christian area of Kentucky. Any advice is helpful

Deuteronomy 23:2 A bastard (halfbreed) shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.
Leviticus 21:14 - (Do not Race Mix) The Lord instructs Moses to "Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron"... A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own OWN PEOPLE to wife.
Deuteronomy 7:3 - The Lord speaking of relations of the nations "Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son."
Joshua 23:12-13 - (Race Mixing will destroy Nations) The Lord Speaking "Else if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of your nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you: Know for a certainty that the Lord your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the Lord your God hath given you."
Psalm 144:11-12 - Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children
Hosea 5:6-7 When they go with their flocks and herds to seek the LORD, they will not find him; he has withdrawn himself from them. They are unfaithful to the LORD; they give birth to illegitimate (half breed) children. When they celebrate their New Moon feasts, he will devour their fields.
