When I first heard this song, I could relate to it. It brought back feelings from years ago. May 24th this year was 24 years sober after loosing my best friend, wife and a great mother to our children. This song brings back tears I thought I had already cried. Thanks Chris for keeping me grounded.
I've listened to this song a thousand times. Today I finally watched the music video...the tears have not stopped. After watching this, the song hits even closer to home. The music video is well done, and makes the song that much more powerful.

I didn't realize this song was about the woman dying by being drunk. I thought it was just a different take on a break up song. Either way, it's refreshing to hear a country song about being sober. Chris Young is really good.

Yes. In other words. They both went out drinking, they got into a fight, she left with the other people drunk, and they got into an accident. She died. And he's been sober since.
The message is excellent about drinking and driving. But if that was his significant other, certainly doesn't say much about her character. Great song though.

The greatest way I can get over another sober Saturday night is to go to Church Sunday morning and praise God for another day of life. Not everyone has that chance, or second chances as I have had in life.

It's hard chose a favorite song of Chris Young, they are all so well crafted, this one, touches your heart, soul, the song as usual, is given his best vocals! It's a story song and I absolutely love a song that starts, takes you into the story and wraps you with the melody, words and touches you, so that you feel the song and become one with it! That is a great country song, and this is a great county song, And the video? cements itself to the song and brings it to life. Amazing!!!! I don't know where it went in rankings but it's one for me.🙃🙂

Holy crap lol. When I first heard this song way back when his album came out late last year, I was not thinking it was a song about losing someone to death. Definitely came out of left field for me. That being said, it just made the song that much more powerful. I love Chris Young!
Chris has ALWAYS said that the song was not necessarily a "break up" song! He left it to peoples imaginations til they decided it was gonna be a single and when, and surprised us all with the video and then his statement about the song made sense!

I was confused all through this video, until the end, because he was in a bar drunk the whole time. Then it gets to the end of the song and my heart just breaks. Gave me goosebumps. One of my favorite Chris Young songs. Great video.

I'm like....i felt nothing but i dont believe something's wrong with me. With all the accidents happening about drunks here and there, it just doesn't surprise me. It just permanently became a thing to expect with drunk people driving, you know.

This song is honestly my favorite song right now. I didn't know it was that deep and the lyrics had that much meaning but I do love every part of this song. This is the first time I've seen this video. Watching the video puts a new meaning to the words. I always just assumed it was about a break up and she left him so he got sober or something. Idk. You don't have to be an alcoholic to understand the emotions behind this song. I've lost many friends in DUI accidents, and all I could think about was the fact that I'm not the one that killed them. I was just left behind to deal with the holes their premature departures left. Rest in peace, Joshua Roberts, Christopher Frederick, Samuel Mills, and Rajwinder Buttar, til we meet again fellas!
