This is quite incredible and detailed; will be so helpful thank you! How many hours in total did the project take? Also how tall does the jacket end up (not including collar)?
I'm about 5'5 and it goes down to my calves. Not sure what that end up being exactly but give an idea! It's easy to lengthen and shorten the pattern though!
How should the muslin fit? I'm making a coat for my boyfriend who is a Medium in men's clothing so using the chart, I chose the L size. Should I be choosing the size closest to his measurements (M) or the next size up (L)? The muslin looks a bit big. Are the sleeves supposed to cover all fingers? And how roomy should it be?
Ideally you're suppose to choose the size who's measurements are closest to yours. The jacket is designed to be slightly loose so a size up might make it too big. It should fit properly at the shoulders and loosely at the body. If the shoulders fit properly then you have the right size! The sleeves are designed to be very long! If they're too long for your needs, then feel free to remove some length at the hem of the sleeve. Hope this helps!

I am having trouble with the very last step, where you topstich the band down. It's easy on the right side of the jacket when the zipper teeth face outwards of the self layer. But on the left side of the jacket, the zipper teeth face inside the jacket towards the lining. How do you topstich the left band (with the outer layer facing up) without the zipper constantly getting in the way? I could stitch from the inside of the jacket but then it wouldn't look very neat and discrete from the outside
@@ndlwrkshop Yes, I am using a zipper foot at this step. I cannot seem to sew the band down without my needle hitting the zipper teeth that is underneath
@@bellasmith4321 I think it might be easier to help with some visuals. Feel free to send the issue along with some pictures to ndlwrkshop@gmail.com and our team will do our best to help you out!
A little bit of everything! Popularity of a character certainly helps but we're also interested in developing some characters that we personally love. Sometimes we also develop certain patterns based on commission requests.

I'm curious is this not copy written?
What sewing machine do you use ?
can you tell me what is the tyle of black fabric to make this cloak, thank you so much
We used cotton sateen for the main fabric. The clouds are made using an upholstery fabric because we thought the texture was interesting
@@ndlwrkshop thank you so much
