    Thank you so much for the closed captions. It was great not missing anything.

      It took some digging to figure out why they weren't available on the last video. I think we have it figured out now. I'll be going back and editing them for today's show once the video is done processing, so they should get even more intelligible. Thank you for watching!

    The recommendation for wool batting suprises me because I read that you can only hand wash and dry a quilt with wool batting? I can't imagine doing that with a quilt or giving it to someone and assuming they will wash and dry by hand?

      I've used it on a couple of quilts and I love the drape of it. I've used Hobbs Wool Batting and they say: "If you prefer machine washing, items made with this batting may be machine-washed - you should use a gentle cycle and cold/cool water and ensure there’s no heavy agitation or spin during the wash cycle." This has been my method and I haven't had any issues. If you are making a quilt that needs to be washed often, you'd probably choose a different batting. The choice of batting has many factors--washability, wearability, drape, weight, etc. --teresa

    Can I use a traditional cotton binding on a cotton quilt backed with cuddle? Any special considerations?

      Yes, you can bind with Cuddle. I'd recommend that if you back with Cuddle and want to hand-stitch the binding down, you sew it to the back and bring it to the front. It is easier to hand-stitch cotton to cotton. You can do it either way you prefer. --teresa

    I love your videos. But there is so much talking and now I have to skip through them. I don’t have that kind of two hour time that you want. Is there anyway you can timestamp your videos?

    • @ShannonFabrics
      @ShannonFabrics  Год назад

      I understand! We had tried the automatic chapter feature on RUclips, but it doesn't seem to be working. We'll try to add these timestamps to our videos going forward so it is easier to find the parts you want to see. Thank you for the feedback! --teresa
