Blown away by some of these videos, I live in Pendeen near Botallack. Absolutely fabulous to see what is beneath our feet. Really enjoying this channel, and baffled why I never found it earlier.
Love watching Botallack underground. I hear a guy saying he's going to put a drone up ....but little heads up that it's in a Flight restricted zone that needs permission to fly there from St Just airport ...24/7. I'm sure you do when you fly there otherwise up to 2yrs in jail ! Flying in airport zones is serious stuff and self unlocking is not permission . Sure you know that . 😉....keep up with the underground videos ...love em
A bit further in past that collapse in Hazard adit is the section that Thyssens cleared from Allens shaft in 1985. If the tin price and LME hadn't gone south you might have been able to go right down the diagonal shaft in the dry....
would be really helpfull with a little more commentry, was the diver below sea level? difficult to work out exactly what is happening, might be an idea to remove "Dogey" rope??

Nice one, had a look from the top yesterday...was hoping someone dived it with a camera
That’s a bit sketchy going down

Some of the workings go out several miles under the seabed. (True, no kidding.)
Removing such ropes is the stupidest and possibly deadliest thing you could do.
How did the miners get down to these shafts?
And how did the bring oar back up ?@@PaulanthonyBridge-kt4eg
