- Hey everyone, my name is Silly Billy but you can call me Billy! So far I have given nothing but praise in these bracket videos... Not anymore! Today all four generations come together to determine who among them is the worst total drama character of all time!
Keep in mind that everything in this video is SUBJECTIVE! There's a pretty popular character in the finale of this bracket so if you can't handle your favorite getting blasted you might want to sit this one out :) Obviously, my opinion is not any better than yours!

Even though Duncan is one of my favorite characters, I completely understand why you ranked him so high on your least favorite character bracket. You made quite a strong counter argument about his actions after Island, which I agree were not the character’s best moments. He was really unjustly cruel to Harold, despite his “justification” behind it being that it was revenge for Courtney’s elimination. Then there is the next season in which he both had plot armor and technically cheated on Courtney. However, what makes him still likable for me is that he at least tries to be nice to Harold near the end of Action and most of his rotten personality traits are a ruse he puts up to not look too nice. (It still does not make up for what happened between him and Courtney though.)

@@moxluvsdisventurecamp When it comes to me concerning any fictional character I really like, I am the kind of person who is open to hearing out other’s opinions about them. While I do really like Duncan as a character, I do get why there are quite a few people who do not like him for his treatment of Harold as well as his actions during the love triangle. He is a very morally gray character who sometimes has a heart of gold and on other occasions is a villain that isn’t as bad as Alejandro or Heather, but definitely up there. It’s this complexity to him that I personally like, but I do get can rub a lot of people the wrong way.
P.S. This is how I also act towards other characters in the Total Drama franchise I like as well. For example, I actually am a fan of Priya, Nichelle, Max, and Scarlett, but I completely understand why people dislike them. Priya was in the spotlight maybe a little too much in both Reboot seasons, Nichelle has not done much to stand out from the rest of the new cast, and then there are Max and Scarlett, who came from a very hated season of the show.
Let's be real, from the moment I heard your reaction to Dave, then you not reacting the same way to any other character, it was pretty obvious Dave would be the worst.
Lmao yess, there's also a couple more videos on here where I rant about Dave ( check out the first episode of the Which Season is the Best series if you're interested) but hey sometimes you have to be a little predictable to fight for what you stand for xD
I have a question for you Courtney got annoying after action I understand why but it got old by Gwen elimination but she took it to far making duncan switch to the good team to get revenge and got him eliminated and she betrayed Gwen why didn’t she go further on the list for that? It is just a suggestion btw
Dave’s derailment as a character in Pahkitew Island was one of the worst I have ever seen. While I don’t hate him as much as most people, Dave basically became a worse version of Ashfur from the Warriors books. Instead of nearly trapping three cats in a fire to perish like Ashfur though, Dave went crazy all because Sky decided not to go out with him, alongside finding out she had a boyfriend back home. I understand him feeling betrayed, but trying to kill Sky and threatening to burn a million dollars in front of her is too far.
Genuinely, I agree that Duncan is overused. He was in 4 seasons and made the merge in all 4 of them. I think he’s the only one that’s made 4 merges.
Nahh pretty sure Owen made merge four ti... Oh yeah... All stars...

Duncan is one of my favorite characters in all of Total Drama but there are two things that I don’t think I can get over.
1. He wins every time
In Action, Duncan picks on Harold and wins every single time, and the fact that he made it to the finale means that you’re telling me that you have to pick on someone to win! That is something I don’t think I can ever forgive him for!
2. He is so relied on.
In World Tour, he was brought back in the middle of the season and taken back into the main storyline which takes other people like Tyler and Noah out of it, so neither Tyler or Noah get too much development while they develop Duncan even more. He was already apart of the main story line in Island and Action we don’t need him in it again!
The reason that he is still one of my favorite characters of all time is that he’s fun to watch and that I can’t forget that he was my favorite character in Island.

I feel like they should have made sugar more evil.
She dose like 4 bad things and the rest of the time she is just being gross and stupid.
Realistically there is no way she should have made it to the last three.
But I do think as a character she had potential to be a threat just she needed to be more of a bully then it would have been satisfying when she was eliminated instead of being a relief.
Between Amy, scarlet and sugar there is definitely a really good villain for that season but instead we get a bunch of very unsatisfying ones.
Now that's something I haven't seen before. A video full of Duncan distaste, with not a single mention of Gwuncan in sight. This video just solidifies my belief that Beth is better as the winner than Duncan is, but I do still like Duncan. Still, your thoughts on the matter were intriguing.

It's so relieving when I actually see for the first time in my life someone NOT like Duncan, it gives me a breath of fresh air he is so overrated as a character and tbh he shouldn't of returned in Total Drama World Tour, he honestly took down everyone close to merge and honestly it would of been fine without him for once, he's in most of the td episodes the guy needs a break.
Dunno if anyone will read this after a year, but I just want to add one thing to the Harold vs Duncan rivalry in Action that nobody talks about.
Duncan’s justification for bullying Harold in Action as he says, was the fact that Harold unfairly eliminated Courtney his love interest in Island.
But then in the superhero episode, both Duncan and Courtney make Harold eliminate Leshawna.
I still don’t know how they managed to convince him to do that, but I think it is the perfect payback for what he did in Island.
So there is no justification for the bullying after that.
Also out of them, Harold gets the happier end in the series, being with Leshawna at the end of World Tour.
Meanwhile Duncan, actually has to face consequences for his actions for the first time ever in All Stars. In that season both Gwen and Courtney don’t give a shit about him anymore and he goes to prison at the end.
That is actually a pretty good impression of Courtney 🤣

Although I wanted to mention Amy also wins by bullying, Amy's goal was to prevent Sammy from having any meaningful friendships, is elicited but still has an impact since Sammy must pretend to be her, and screwed her over in episode 5, Amy got what she wanted, which was more Sammy mistreatment.

@@SillyBillyDucky nah but you see, Harold doesn't have to go home to Duncan. Sammy does have to go to home to Amy, who has presumably been getting away with abusing her for 16 years. Not to mention Amy literally tried to kill Sammy multiple times, while Duncan never went that far with anyone, including Harold.
I know this is hella old for a one year comment, but maybe to give the benefit of the doubt for Sammy; all of her sisters bullying has been exposed on international/national TV so I have a hard time believing that anyone gonna like Amy back in their hometown.
I'm really glad to see Courtney not here, j was terrified for a moment tho even if you did dislike her that would make complete sense despite her being my favourite. I completely agree with you on Duncan in action, he's one of my favourites but action just really screws up his character.
Moral of the story: Adding is way cooler than subtracting

i think a really good way to fix duncan in action is just to had harold to the finale instead of beth. imagine how good that would be. is exactly what everyone wanted underdog vs bully. so both parts are happy with their respective winner. also make harold to cannon winner for obvious reasons. just a random thought
EDIT: obviously there still needs to be some things fixed about the poor writing of this character. i was rewatching action and i dont remeber him being this one sided. ALSO WHY THE HELL DO YOU HAVE 100 SUBS MY MAN THESE VIDEOS ARE AMAZING. like fr i was shocked to see only 9 coments and 101 subscribers (at the time of writing) im new to this channel but it seems great
Personally I would have loved a Harold v Lindsay finale but Harold v Duncan was written in the stars from the get-go!

@comble kane interesting idea too, I think in the debate for worthy Action finalists this combo is not often brought up but it could work for sure! Only thing is that there mayybe isn't enough conflict between the finalists such as with Mike and Zoey in AS

Ok, I’m my head it sounded a lot better in my head, but typing it out it actually doesn’t sound that good.
Going to have to disagree with the Duncan versus Scarlet match up right off the bat. You made a lot of good points about Duncan himself, but you didn't make any points on why he is worse than Scarlet. Scarlet is nothing but completely wasted potential. She could have been the main villain in her season and it really needed one. She could have been the evil genius pulling the strings through the whole game, instead she just went off the deep end in a single episode and was instantly gone afterwards. Going to say that's far worse than some bullying. Edit: Bullying is one thing....Scarlet actually tried to murder the entire cast as well.

I think with Amy we could have a very weird and unique "personal villain", where she isn't a big threat to most of the characters except for one character we really root for. I agree if Amy would be the main antagonist she would probably be "Heather 2: Twinsanity" but I think there was MUCH more potential in her rivalry with Sammy
I'm happy that my boy Zeke wasn't in this ranking. I didn't understand Lightning being in it originally, same with Duncan, because he was good in the first two seasons, but then I remembered him in WT and AS. I also really don't understand Tyler being here, because he was really funny in WT, despite having like 12 episodes or smth idk. But hey, you can have your opinions, and I can have mine.

Dave & sugar is completely understandable. Dave for reasons I probably don't have to explain further and sugar is just a character that combines the worst aspects of Heather and Owen, in a bad way.

Because Mickey and Duncan's VAs did Bakugan before, Mickey has better BakuStrength than Duncan. So therefore, Mickey should win against Duncan. Mickey should be number one!
Dave is actually super funny when he's an incel. He litterally *howls* after getting rejected, how do you not find that hilarious. (Also he's actually decent in most episodes because he doesn't reveal himself as an incel until later) Dave and Sky are probably the two most overhated contestants in all of total drama. People say they're the worst when they're at about B to low C tier.

And yes I agree with Duncan and Harold I didn’t like Duncan bullying Harold either but that dosent mean he’s low on the list because their were moments that don’t involve Duncan picking on Harold that I liked. Also I was okay with Duncan winning action but they could have at least had Harold be in the finally with Duncan instead of beth! But it is what it is now, who knows Man they did their characters dirty, they did Trent, Lindsay, Bridgette, Gwen, Owen, Mike, Cameron, Cody, Tyler, Dave, sky, all those that people liked on the show put to waste. I think the writters had difficulty thinking of what they would do with them.

( THIS IS MY OPINION NOT YOURS) I really like how you put Duncan in the final two for the worst characters because he is my least favorite in total drama because I hate the love triangle in half of action , world tour , and all stars. I was jumping with excitement when Gwen broke up with him in All stars because that was a very toxic relationship . Plus he could’ve broken up with Courtney and then dated Gwen but he literally did while him and Courtney was dating 😐 and he was wondering why Courtney was ignoring him like you did not cheat on her that is why I think Duncan is the worst but I’m fine with Dave being the worst in your opinion because he was VERY Annoying and was literally a crybaby and couldn’t take no for an answer so I’m fine with your opinion !

I am going to start by saying I'm not trying to start anything, so don't come at me, buuuuuut I feel Duncan's placement is a bit undeserved
Now the main point being brought up is the whole bully vs underdog dynamic between him and Harold and how the bully won out in that duel, but Total Drama has been made and set up to divert expectations, and what better way than to break a cliche that is seen too much? of course Cameron just kicks that to the dirt in Revenge, but still I have to at least bring that up, and though I get why he's here, I personally feel his line should've stopped at Amy.
True, but I would argue that subverting expectations is not necessarily always what a show should strive towards (Game of Thrones being the prime example).
You're probably right about his placement though, the current way I solved this bracket is very much focussed at the worst of characters and in that departement I still stand by Duncan beating Amy, however Duncan has also a lot of moments (especially in Island!) where he beats Amy with ease. Who knows, maybe if I revisit this idea in a few years Duncan will have risen back a bit :)

I wouldnt be as angry with duncan winning action if his rivalry with harold was less one sided, duncan just wins every time and there are very few moments harold actually bests duncan (moreso towards the end of the season) but then he gets eliminated and duncan goes on to win the whole season
To be honest, Dave is my favorite. He matches my personality and secretly, Noah and Dave are cousins! Also hi, Trevor from DC! Huge fan
i think the list was good but one thing i find odd is that you like Zoey so much while disliking Sky for being a Mary Sue when honestly Zoey is a even bigger Mary Sue than Sky, especially in All Stars, Sky just like Shawn, Jasmine, Lighting and more recently Priya had to train before the show to gain the skills they have while Zoey became just as skilled as them just because she got mad and thats it, getting so skilled she even defeating Chef when she went comando and Jo in episode 3 of All Stars, Sky failed to get with the guy she wanted and can only get the money on her ending while Zoey got with the guy she wanted and got the money either way since in both endings she and Mike will just share it, Sky had a moment where she was at risk of being eliminated while Zoey went completely risk free until the top 3 in two seasons, so yeah altough i also like Zoey more than Sky, Zoeys is for sure the more Mary Sue of the two
I'm honestly shocked Stephanie wasn't on this list. Her arguing with her boyfriend got really old really fast and the haters really overstayed their welcome mainly cause of her (Ryan was fine on his own).

I love Tyler so much as a likeable character, but I really understand why u put him on this list, he really needs his own story so we understand more about him, and we need a new season where we can bring back him and Linsday actually bonding and dating, because Linsday did nothing but forget his name in season 3, and as soon as she found out his name she was booted. Also she didn't get to see him for season 2 and in season 1 he was booted quite early with an embarrasing reason. But it's true that Tyler can be used in situations and he is an underdog that does anything for the other contestants because in the inside, he doesn't want drama with the other contestants. 🙂✌

Duncan to me is really fun to watch, but is the most overrated character in the series, and no one but Alejandro comes close. Alejandro's actual production is underwhelming, but Duncan takes that to a whole new level. Wanna know why?

Even then, the second semifinal would be my final and Sugar would win because of me looking back on Season 6 (I refuse to say Season 5B or 5.2) and having my own opinion rather than relying on the once Total Drama Ricky. If Sugar was to be revealed to work for the KKK, I wouldn't be surprised. I hate her that badly.

I disagree with Jery not being the worst. He was annoying and played no role other than being annoying to other people!
Personally I don't hate he has one thing that kinda redeem him for me which is his dynamic with Shawn honestly without Dave we wouldn't have gotten shasmine as an official couple and he help ground shawn a little more to reality which is something I really enjoy
As for sky you really have 2 big moments that you can see she is entirely in the wrong 1st is going with jasmine idea and sabotaging dave in challenge were they walk through the danger zone despite the fact he is her friend and that they are carrying literal babies why put them in even more danger and the 2nd is the kiss in the finally which was kinda messed up
Now as to who I personally think the worst character in the franchise is and that is Sierra like you not supporting Duncan win in action her getting as far as she did is celebratory and making sexual harassment OK, and that is something that is so wrong for me on so many levels watching everything she put cody through made me really sorry for him watching the London episode and seeing how eagerly she stripped the guard when he had a Cody mask on and then not see her eliminiated was so wrong especially because instead the one that was eliminated is Noah, and then have her put Cameron through a similar thing showing that she is so reliant on victim to function like a human being is ridiculous if that was what they planned for her why make her an all star at all and on the heroes team at all considering her entire plot is sexually harass Cody and not have either Leshawna or Beth both characters far more deserving of an all star status than Sierra

I 100% agree with your take on Duncan, in fact, I think he’s worse than Dave, Dave was super annoying but he was only 100% awful for like 2 or 3 episodes, he was just kinda mediocre the rest of the time, Duncan awful for most of his time on the show, he just sucks SO BAD past season one. Everyone and their grandma knows about the love triangle and how Courtney and Gwen got most of the in-universe flack for DUNCAN going out of his way to cheat on Courtney. But I actually hate him most in season 2. Duncan spends nearly the whole season bullying Harold and for what? He says it’s for Courtney but first of all, you pushed him to the point where he wanted to get rid of Courtney thanks to your own actions, and secondly, how will bullying Harold bring Courtney back. Especially in episode 5. Duncan can dish it out all he wants, but he can’t handle the consequences when he gets his karma, which is surprisingly rare because after season 1, the show completely BABIES HIM. This really started in the middle of action, where Leshawna, Lindsay, and Beth all plan on voting Duncan, with Harold still in the game and there being 7 people left at this point, it should be Duncan’s end, but NO. Courtney, not Duncan, but COURTNEY convinces Harold to flip on his best friend (Leshawna) to save the guy that actively bullies him (Duncan) no amount of convincing should be enough to make HAROLD make that leap, especially since Duncan insulted Harold right before that. But whatever, a forced elimination happens from time to time, right? True, but only 2 eliminations later, We get something nearly as contrived AGAIN. With Owen back, there are 6 people left, Lindsay, Beth, and Harold all want to eliminate Duncan to weaken Courtney, and Owen actually seems to go along with it. But despite that the fact that he KNOWS that Courtney holds immunity, Owen votes for her, meaning his vote doesn’t count, and then, in the most contrived thing since the Leshawna elimination, so like 4 episodes, LINDSAY ACCIDENTALLY VOTES HERSELF OFF!!!!!!! WHAT?! I shouldn’t even give it the reward of it being discussed but WHY, WHY NOW?! No other contestant ever voted for themself on accident before or after this episode, this is the same thing as the ballot box in basic straining, and the fact that Duncan would’ve gone home if it weren’t for his stroke of luck TWICE IN 3 ELIMINATIONS just proves that the show completely coddles him and decks in out in plot armor (even though he really had no plot this season) and it continues, Courtney, his only ally is in danger? Boom! Forced spider that never was brought up or appeared before or after this episode. He gets the most votes, BOOM it’s a non-elimination, he cheats on Courtney and made advances on Gwen, BOOM everyone decides he was completely innocent in this mess, despite being the one who started it. Why can Duncan never be made uncomfortable or be brought down a peg, I’m sure it happened somewhere in Action and World tour, but time and time again he acts rude to everyone and gets away with it with no karma (and no, slapstick doesn’t count as karma since it didn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things) this is why I didn’t care what they did with Duncan by all stars, I had completely tuned out of him, yeah they made him worse, but after world tour and ESPECIALLY ACTION, I was actually kinda happy, Duncan was finally not being coddled by the show, he finally didn’t have his bad actions overlooked for the umpteenth time, He finally dropped out early enough that I didn’t have to sit through a whole season of him, it sucked for sure, all stars is still the worst for what they did to Courtney, Lindsay, Mike, Zoey, Cameron, Sierra, Jo, and Heather, and they didn’t help Duncan’s case, but I didn’t care, he finally got his just desserts

Duncan is SO annoying and unfunny and boring, he’s also a cheater.
