I'd recommend for your team to use OLED or AMOLED for the display next time, as there will be no dark grey backgrounds, the words will look as if they just came to be on the base, and it will give an unlimited opportunity to were things display around the whole base even while the kettle boils, all while looking sleek because its difficult to detect or see an OLED type screen that is off, being deep black, than an LCD or LED type. Just a suggestion. Still waiting until mid May 2023 for the Pro Studio Edition to release in the UK.
Disappointed that they worked three years and didn’t come out with the pro studio edition in white as I am waiting for that if that is possible so it can match my other accessories.
Hi, is the solid state relay a new feature or does the OG Stagg Ekg have that too? Edit - Also do you have the Pro in 220-240v version? If not, when do you think it will be released?
I just got mine today and bought from an online store in Canada since it's unavailable and sold out in our local stores and distributor in the Philippines. Paid separate customs clearance fee as well. Very disappointed that the kettle has some issue because it keeps saying "Add water" when there is already water. I just opened and tested today so I didnt soak this item nor got this wet. I might have to return this faulty and very expensive kettle. 💔
I paid $129 🇺🇸 for my "OG" Stagg EKG Electric Kettle in February 2020 ... pricey for an electric kettle, but as it turns out, good value for money. That same kettle today will cost you $165. Pandemic/supply chain woes, wars, inflation, etc. etc. notwithstanding - there is not $36 more value in the same kettle less than three years later. This latest Stagg EKG Pro Studio Edition (classic model) is $225, with the Stagg EKG Pro Studio Edition (walnut accents model) at $255. Yes, they appear to be able to do some pretty nifty stuff. Is that stuff worth paying $96 -to- $126 more per unit? 🤔 ...for me? No.
1. Only reason why I bought Studio edition because of its 3 year warranty. I believe in protecting environment and minimizing waste. 2. I wish Fellow had tea style kettle with big spout that would fit in Studio base. 3. Phone app to monitor and control temperature and other kettle settings would make this product perfect. Thank you.
???paying that kind of money for a kettle with no smartphone app... Even the Cosori variable temperature gooseneck kettle has a smartphone app and it's 1/3 of your price.
@@joepatboblol... it's just a kettle FFS, one of many quality ones out there that have specific temperature settings...you're not selling a smartphone...and if your $$$ kettle is so much better than why no smart app (Cosori's is excellent btw and both the kettle and brand are reliable... Just look at the Amazon ratings)
@@choppersplace Nah Cosori is way too cheap, we own a small coffeehouse bought 3 Cosori's they breakdown after 2 years plastic cracks buttons stop working, had our Staggs for over 7 years zero problems. Cosori is a good cheap option but you get what you pay for it's as simple as that.
Why does it have a ring so close to the hot wall? The ring gets hot and burns your hand easily if you’re not careful. You should have designed a better handle.
When will phone app control be released?
Really happy with my Pro Studio Edition! Also HI JAKE!

OLED's are very very sensitive to heat. They would burn out so fast.
They did have the beautiful OLED on the tally pro studio scale.
How can i turn off, does the kettle need to be out of the base?

Will a white version be coming out in the future? I really want my all white set-up... lol.

When will there be an EU or world edition with 220V?
Will it do quick boil if you set it to 100C ?
The updater app does not work.
In Ohio it is against the law to require registration for a warranty! You MUST provide the full 3 year warranty WITHOUT registration.
Lol so aggressive for no reason while also being incorrect because nuance.
@@yoloparrot42 Gee . . . Using all capital letters is aggressive? Your use of LOL tells me a lot about your maturity level. No doubt you’re a soy boy!
Wish I would have watched this before! I just buy a regular Stagg Kettle. Nothing regular. They are beautiful! Mine is a beautiful white.
I am waiting for the white in pro studio edition. They took three years to design this and only came out with black. 🙄

Is the power cord still the length of a banana?
Hey Edward! Because the kettle + base isn't meant to be moved around but rather plugged into one spot, the cord is 2.5ft.
Hi could l order one with a UK electric plug as lm sending it as a gift to someone in the UK?
Hi Joc! The EKG Pro is not available for international sale yet. Please check with your local distributor on when they plan to stock these units.

@@joepatbob Yes definitely agree.
Smartphone apps are horseshit and this clown wants MORE products to use and rely on them. Wow.
when will the design allow the right to repair?
