Jean-François Caron is a strongman and powerlifter from Les Hauteurs, Quebec, Canada.
Caron has won Canada's Strongest Man a record 9 consecutive times, from 2011 to 2019. In 2016, he won all eight events in the contest, the only time a competitor has managed a clean sweep at the Canada's Strongest Man competition.
Caron holds a world record in the deadlift for the WPA Powerlifting organization. Caron deadlifted 850 pounds (390 kg) on March 14, 2010 at the CPA Provincial Championships in Sherbrooke, Quebec in the 308 pounds (140 kg) weight class, weighing in at only 280 pounds (130 kg).
He also held the Hummer Tire Deadlift World Record with 545kg/1202lbs, which he set at the Shaws Classic.

Man I was glad I didn't whatch it live. I was waiting for auntie Liz to upload the results (Big Loz was a host in that show) and I was gutted hearing what happent. Hope he has full recovery. I will be happy to see him getting a place as judge or as a host. He is a great guy.
