had exactly the same problem with my ENGWE L20 today and found the solution.
1. In P8 mode, hold down the "power" and the "-" button at the same time for a few seconds until off "P8" becomes a "P-".
2.Enter code 1313.
3.Press and hold the power button for 1-2 seconds.
Complete. 🙂
