One of the most amazing lore facts about the Huragok (and sadly not mentioned in vid) was the fact they knew the Halos would kill all life and were purposely helping the covenant so that they could be free and await for the forerunners to return. The Huragok Vergil/Quick to Adjust that you protect in 3: ODST admits in the interrogation with Dare and Johnson in a halo loot crate data drop (which are considered canon).
Evidently, humanity rescued enough Engineers for there to be a dedicated room for them on the Infinity. There's an easter egg door during the mantis section that will state that it is for Huragok maintenance. Easy to run past because you can only find it on foot.
My fave interaction with the huragok is when it met a Spartan... I want to say Lucy, but I could be mistaken, it fixed her radar systems improved the suit but it couldn't fix her, I found that to be so sweet, he did everything he could for that PTSD stricken Spartan
Well technically he did fix her he fixed her by being a therapist and after Lucy’s little therapy session when Dr Halsey was yelling at and pushing the huragok Lucy knocked her out and yelled for the first time in a decade. So long story short he fixed her with therapy
i like that they will help any species with broken materials. which was bad news for the one who helped chief repair his suit. since they can share their information with other huragok.
No not yet, he saved the worst for last the San 'Shyuum or Prophets. Unless he covers other species like those in covenant fringe or the xalayn (endless).
@legacy0fbacon719 definitely agree with a Flood and Precursor video. Sharquoi are my favorite of the fringe Yonhet are cool but I think the Dazreme (think I spelled it right) would've been cool to fight.
Huragok are su cute and lovable floaty boys. It hurts having to encounter them in games when they have bombs strapped to them. But I love the moments in Halo where we get to see them going about their business and the cute and cool moments like when Johnson met Virgil at the end of ODST. They really are the goodest, sweetest, cutest, and most lovable and bestest bois of the Covenant.
FELLAS!!! As far as we know, Bungie intended the Forerunners to be ancient humans. So is there any chance that these floating goobers recognized humanity as the Forerunners?
My boys finally got their episode. I wish they were in more games
@@declanedwardes4869 Shout out to “Floats near ceiling” and “Drifts Randomly”
Same! Such a cool species.

If I was a living machine that had to wear a bomb that could kill me if my brute master died, the great journey would be pretty cool trip

The only species that cannot be infected or used by the Flood! Since Hunter worms can still be used for biomass, but also not able to be infected.
Hunter worms can only be used for biomass SO FAR😀
Edit: spelling

Yeah it was lucy
The Huragok Fred found on Gao could've fixed her voice.

Must boop the snoot intensifies
When you first saw Huragok | Beastiarum were you blinded by its majesty?
Paralyzed? Dumbstruck?
"It's a pink floating octopus, what about that is so hard to find?!"
odst's legendary ending is lowkey my favorite. RiP Johnson.
Absolutely love the expanded Universe of Halo. It's so fascinating the Ancient Humans and the aliens of the covenant.
Oh yes the best and cutest bois! The Huragok aka Engineers
So this means the Bestiarum is over?

1:42 I just now noticed that the bladders are just retextured Flood infection form pods.
You should've mentioned the Huragok that repair living tissue & not machines like in Last Light. Those are the real Golden Goose.
I absolutely love these floaty boys and their names!!!

Went through this series today, short but also covers a wide depth of information

Hello there!… I was wondering If you could do a review on gray team. From it’s origins to it’s current status!
