I randomly stumbled upon a stolen CBR 125RR in a field in the middle of nowhere last month. I sat with it for 2 hours an basically dragged the police there. I wasn't leaving it. Paid more for that bike than I did my car. I dragged it out of the bushes to the road, got the VIN number, made the police meet me there which was a mission, tracked the owner down on Facebook and got his bike back to forensics. I've had a bike stolen before and its shit. Great to see you doing this for the community and for free too. I didn't want money, I just wanted to share my story with the owner an tell him how luck he was to get his beautiful bike back. Much respect Muff Man, you a credit to yourself and the good people in London.

I had lived at the address for a few days before it was taken. The bike was chained and disk locked as well. I had to move after it was recovered to a garage and Dulwich for repairs. I ended up sofa surfing for a few months because I couldn't afford to rent after paying the bill to have the bike repaired. I used to commute back gone to Devon every week, as my mum is disabled and I used to help her out at weekends. I had to pay for coach fees whilst this was going on and walk 2 hours a day to drama school and back again because I ran out of money. The bike took ages to repair as the person who owned the garage was selling up and was a friend of a friend from home in Devon. They had to get a new ECU for the bike and ignition barrel as well. It has made me really worry about the security of my bike. Even 9 years later I am still paranoid about it happening again. Well done again for all you do to help get these people caught.
At the end of the day they are wasting the most important years of there life's stealing bikes. I don't think these kids will ever learn how to be a true functioning member of society. Its sad. You’re doing great work man! Ive had three bikes stolen in the past five years and police DO NOT CARE. A few weeks ago, I caught a couple kids trying to steal my neighbors r6... i chased them off then tried to chase em down to get a pic. They got away but as i was returning to my lot, they were leaving on another clearly stolen bike. No plate and they had no gear. At this point i called the cops. Five minutes later, i was talking to them on the side of the road and right as i was describing the kids, they rode by us again. They had looped back around. I made it clear that it was them and the officers just looked at each other. There were four of them in two cars. After a few seconds, they just said to me “we dont chase fast bikes. It’s dangerous “ i was blown away. I told them that sucks because those pieces of shit could be riding someone’s only vehicle and really fucking up their life.. i know because ive been that person up shit creek because of some degenerate piece of shit. Furthermore, they were sending the message that its ok to do that. The kids clearly saw me pointing them out and i saw the panic for a split second.. mind you it was also 430am with zero traffic on the roads. Dangerous? Sure.. for the theives and they should have fucking considered that.. or not i guess as my city basically just gave them a pass. I don’t see one good reason they couldn’t have tried. Of they run, at least you’ve got a chance of an evasion charge down the line. Asshats. I made a post on craigslist warning locals to make sure their shit is locked down but it was quickly flagged. In guessing either by them or some other piece of shit sympathetic to that lifestyle.

You’re doing great work man! Ive had three bikes stolen in the past five years and police DO NOT CARE. A few weeks ago, I caught a couple kids trying to steal my neighbors r6... i chased them off then tried to chase em down to get a pic. They got away but as i was returning to my lot, they were leaving on another clearly stolen bike. No plate and they had no gear. At this point i called the cops. Five minutes later, i was talking to them on the side of the road and right as i was describing the kids, they rode by us again. They had looped back around. I made it clear that it was them and the officers just looked at each other. There were four of them in two cars. After a few seconds, they just said to me “we dont chase fast bikes. It’s dangerous “ i was blown away. I told them that sucks because those pieces of shit could be riding someone’s only vehicle and really fucking up their life.. i know because ive been that person up shit creek because of some degenerate piece of shit. Furthermore, they were sending the message that its ok to do that. The kids clearly saw me pointing them out and i saw the panic for a split second.. mind you it was also 430am with zero traffic on the roads. Dangerous? Sure.. for the theives and they should have fucking considered that.. or not i guess as my city basically just gave them a pass. I don’t see one good reason they couldn’t have tried. Of they run, at least you’ve got a chance of an evasion charge down the line. Asshats.
I made a post on craigslist warning locals to make sure their shit is locked down but it was quickly flagged. In guessing either by them or some other piece of shit sympathetic to that lifestyle.

My Honda cr that I worked 200 hours for got stolen after I recovered from a foot injury. Was told by the police when they didnt send an officer down that they dont have the resources to deal with a burglary cause it wasnt in my house, didnt have insurance on it so it's all gone.
