Sure God will take care of Rita Rose , and give her and her children the courage to overcome the sorrows of her late husband. I met her at the holy family hospital Banda Mumbai , when her husband was unwell. and when my mother too was admitted in the adjoining room. Nothing against the legend. I grew up listening to her songs on my grandfather’s gramophone. She did say we should be proud of our mother tongue but she struggled to speak in Konkani which is a shame.
