I got over 800 million on classic Wetrix on N64, I have the game and my 64 in a cupboard. I played it so hard the game stick would grind and leave plastic powder in the well, I cleaned it frequently. I stuck a rubber ring on the game stick to get more grip. The most lakes I built was 15 but shaved it down later when more bombs drop at 500 million and the random up builder pieces would cause earthquake, after I would keep 13 lakes with zero excess weight. It was a masterpiece of architectural brilliance grade 1 listed building. Wetrix 2 on dreamcast is an outcast, on that points are x10 compared to Wetrix 64 points. The best structure is to start the first lake at the top corner and build 3 either side, then a second row of 3 on the top left side and 2 more on the bottom left wall to meet at the bottom corner then put 3 more on the right bottom wall to meet at the right corner. I drop bombs at the bottom corner because it's easier to pull down when bombs drop quick. My motor neurons are much quicker since I played.
Impressive! It's amazing how 1 little mistake just causes you to lose like that though :s What exactly happened? The water mines were in the closed off area, so how did it get destroyed?
If the lake dries while mines are in water they hit the ground and explode. If a bomb goes through a hole in the ground random bombs will drop in other areas and ruin the environment too.

It's not as easy with swipe, it could work with a bluetooth game stick.

There was no water in there, so tge mines blew up
