Desantis needs to sign banning HOA scammers from stealing home owners properties or stop special assessments fees and banned HOAs fees period. Instead of harassment homeless people.

@@peppermorrison6644 I think they have plenty of shelter beds. If they get evicted, they must be doing something bad like doing drugs or selling drugs. If they follow the rules, they don’t have to get evicted and they have to be back at a certain time no later than 10 PM, I believe or midnight.

The 9th District Court already ruled that these actions against LIVING NATURAL PEOPLE are unlawful and unconstitutional. I guess someone needs to sue greed-saturated Florida into compliance now. No one has the lawful authority to prevent people from life, liberty, pursuit of happiness (accumulating generational wealth,) travel, et cetera, nor do they have the authority to tell a people what those NATURAL RIGHTS should be for them. These are natural rights that can never be separated, for any reason, from a people (supported consistently in law by the US Supreme Court.) I have my max case load already this year, but if DeSantis signs this, especially after giving foreclosed/government-owned properties to Illegals, yes, I'll pick this one up. For anyone who is harmed by this already publicly known to be unlawful action (arrested, harassed, household effects stolen, et cetera,) I will write their Federal claim against Florida for free. Other states and cities have already been knocked down by the courts on this, but Florida is pushing it through anyway? Criminal activity against the weak. Well, we'll see about that. Remember, this also violates the right to travel, a natural right which is heavily supported by the Supreme Court in case law. This is coming on the heels of a nationwide assault on what is being called a "non-recreational camper," which is anyone any "authority" deems to look poor, homeless, fulltime RVer, an easy target, et cetera, on public lands. People are being run out of PAID campgrounds, as in they paid the same amount of money as anyone else for their campsite. Florida conducted their raid on the poor last year in state campgrounds and lands. Rules for these parks/lands, like stay limits, are not being enforced evenly, and a new rule was sprung on campers without warning, during their paid camping stay, forcing them to leave the state campgrounds (a clear violation of contract law.) Arizona started a couple of years ago, with local law enforcement partnering with the Bureau of Land Management. Make no mistake, this is not just about homeless camps. There are thousands upon thousands of fulltime RVers who travel and work on the road who are being targeted. Is Florida going to steal their household effects and ability to create generational wealth to cram them in a tent city or shelter? No. Enough is enough.

Thank you mam. I am a lifetime resident of Florida. I was born and raised in Key West. I am currently living in my van in Titusville. I was recently trespassed from a Nasa parking lot near the causeway. Trespass for life for sleeping in the van. I have a medical card yet the officer confiscated the weed which I gave him without incident. Then he searched my van making me wait two hours to use the restroom. I am also a reformed convicted felon. He was rude, aggressive, placing his hand on his weapon trying to intimidate and humiliate me. He also harrased a homeless man I had allowed to sleep in the back of van.
All of was uncomfortable. There were not any Trespass signs or signs saying no overnight camping. I was compliant, cooperative and nice.
When he finished I asked to use the Porta potty. He finally let me. Then halfway to the bathroom he said it's OK Mr. Dell you can just go here in the bushes. I refused and said no. I prefer to not expose myself in front of a Federal officer.
I do not drink or use any hard drugs. The card is for other issues.
Yet I am ready to fight for whatever rights we might have left.
What our Government is doing is criminal. All shelters are full.
Where am I to go? Leave my own state?
      Sell my van? Give up?
      God bless you.

Homeless people will easily find shelter in Miami data and crowd county as long as they follow the rules. Most of them don’t want to find shelter.

where are these designated camps that he wants them to go to?? How are they larger than parks? Who is going to pay taxes to have these camps and new shelters?? Who is going to pay taxes to jail more people who reject the camping in public places? Sounds like it will cost tax payers more than the other way around!

Why is the florida Republicans in Tallahassee waging a war on the homeless in an election year ??? Homeless people vote too , and homeless people are republicans too . While Desantis was busy running for president the homeless numbers exploded. He wasn't paying attention to what was happening in the state. Broward county does not have the resources to deal with the homeless problem, unlike miami .
