The sound quality here is PERFECT and right ON POINT. She actually sounds exactly like she does on the album that's how PERFECT the sound effects are! This performance sounds more like the album version than any other that I have seen!
I honestly can't believe people when they say how bad she is live. She's not amazing or perfect but she's decent and better than a lot of other performers out there. It seems with most performers (ESPECIALLY popular girls) there is a lot of negative backlash over everything they do. I find it ridiculous.

@MsBrookeisme No, it was actually NOT autotuned. She just used a vocoder at one part (on the bridge), but that's nothing like Autotune. Vocoders don't correct your pitch while singing, they only alter the voice to sound differently, that's all. So you don't have to be apologetic for liking the song and the performance! This was all live. I don't think she has ever used Autotune in a live performance tbh, just vocoders and stuff. You'll never hear her T-Paining on stage.

I get a kick out of the fact that if you go to a kesha concert, all you're doing is paying to hear her CD played over the sound system and watch her dance to her own music without singing a single lyric. Which is weird because she really can sing, her Bob Dylan covers are amazing unplugged.

vocoders take at least two audio channels (one is a carrier, the other is a modulator) . The Carrier is responsibile for pitch and timbre, the Modulator is responsible for articulation. In this song, a synthesizer is is the carrier. the singer's voice is the modulator. Vocoder don't 'correct your pitch'. They TAKE OVER your pitch.
