In my first 4 hours I faced my first boss, I had 400 energy and in a single hit it left me at 69, what a fury it gave me.
Attack speed is highly important for the necro. It actually makes him summon skellingtons faster!
i always wondered if it makes sceletons attack faster , but ok thats good to know!!
Yeah if you don't have river bordered thickets all over your map you're gonna have a bad time

HEY, i just realised that info about Friendly skeleton is not correct, it says attacks per sec 0.52 but on my stopwatch he is hitting every 1.73. So i dont get in now how does it then work

Wish I knew sooner this was 13 minutes of nothing on top of void, starting after 3 minutes of drivel and ending with a minute of more of it.

I'd suggest having a spoiler free version of this video and then having an advanced tips video with the more spoiler heavy footage and info. Just from watching this video I've been spoiled on a ton of stuff. Oh well.

For battling (and weakening) the Lich, fill adjacent tiles to campfire with grooves, smity etc, so there are not as many lich palace tiles when the boss appears.. also save some Oblivion to erase palace tiles. So handy in the last chapter

I just beat the game in a completely blind playthrough. My essential strategy was to get 4 watchtowers, upgrade them all to level 2 (so that they all attack within 2 tiles of the camp on each side) and then stack tons of enemies near the camp. I used the Necromancer, when I unlocked forests, towns, and rivers, I ran the river in a zig zag fashion to maximize my surface area of the river. I only placed thickets and ignored the other one (because it gives 1/2 value) and always placed it near the river. Same with towns.
Always aim to keep your skeletal level around the same level or above your loop level. With the thickets on rivers, you should get a very nice attack speed which will allow you to summon skeletons quickly, with your town cards you should gain a few levels really quickly. Always take the perks that give you HP when a skeleton dies and the one that distributes damage among skeletons, then prioritize the additional skeleton and any other perk that gives you a longer term bonus. Aim for at least 3 skeletons and ideally you want 30%+ skeleton quality, but if you have the 2 good perks and at least 100% attack speed, skeletal quality isn't so important. That's the basics.
When I first started I died many times, but once I refined this strategy I basically steamrolled through the game. Use the chrono crystals near your camp with your watchtower upgrades. Use the bookery to swap out your crappy cards for others, aim for long term, always aim to place the thickets and better resource cards next to your river as that will be a 4x bonus over just placing a card just because you have it.
In my final playthrough I got over 430% attack speed so I was essentially summoning skeletons instantly, every time I got hit my damage would distribute among them, and if one of them died I gained life. With this strat, once you get rolling it's very hard to actually die as long as you keep your skeleton level high enough.

I'm still kinda new to the game I've played it for two days only I've unlocked the Rogue class but didn't really like it much so i kept going with the Warrior and let me tell one thing... Vampirism is freakin broken with a high damage weapon so is Evasion
I kill the first boss with a full Evasion build with an almost full heath bar !!!
I had 55% vampirism upon my first encounter with him and ended up just beating him despite there being 4 palace sections up, hard agree
this game is addicting, just got it free from epic and now I'm looking up tips
same here! I normally dislike roguelites because of having to start all over again, but it feels fulfilling here.
I don't know if evasion is worth it, if you have a lot of AS on rogue, you burn stamina and can't evade.

As there is a very important Tip missing i'd like to add it to your list:
- Never pick a trait after defeating a boss that seems useless, it's often even better to take resources
I really wish i knew that earlier as it messes up my endgame and i'm considering to start a new safe. ^^
(ps: this tip is especially important for the necromancer, as their own traits are super important for good runs of 30+ loops in ch4)
But you know you can deactivate those extra traits right? Also that is a good typ too.
You can select or deselect the traits you get from bosses at will, only the five basic and ten class specific traits are actually mandatory

As somebody who likes to play Necro nowadays, I find the best strategy is to focus on healing and increasing max skeletons but the real trick is to increase attack speed so you can rapidly defend/heal yourself with summons. A good amulet will also give you time to summon/heal up before the enemies break it.
Max skeletons won't mean ish if they can't stay alive long enough for you to get there.
You'll want summon quality high enough so that you get a tank every 3-4 summons.
Once you manage to get about 5-6 skeletons on screen you will dominate almost every encounter (Harpies will put up a pretty hard fight).
The enemies that spawn from forest/thickets are free exp since they counter and it's your summons doing most the attacking
For the rogue, you want to flex outposts since you gain gear through trophies anyway
I think your main issue is trying to run the rogue at all until much later in the game. I could go into my guides, but im in the process of making them lol
Checking out your channel, keep it up man; solid stuff! I honestly don’t have many problems in the late game, but I’m still cruising along, so I may hit a wall at some point. The community seems pretty behind the Rogue full tilt, but who knows.

I been using only the warrior so far , been mastering the game little by little and just did my best session yet , 17 loops

@@GreatOne_1 It may be a little off but basically thats a attack rate, kind of like how you consider fire rate. Attack Rate and Attack speed are two ways to say the same thing, but with different calculations. An attack rate of .5 basically means you make .5 of an attack in a second, therefore it takes two seconds to successfully complete an attack. Imagine your attack speed is at 50% from 100%, therefore you take twice as long for the same second attack. Its a little confusing but usually thats how things like rates are calculated in games, with decimals and the concept of "rates"

What happens if you have too many cards on your hand and the surplus cards get destroyed? Is there a negative effect other than losing the cards?
You get a memory resource
No, you get memory fragments-> memory orbs. you will need them. One common theme is leaving low rank tiles like rocks and sanc dune( because you have mountain and desert tile) to sit on the hand, so it gets transformed

He mentioned that the boss shows up when you fill the bar… so when you want to fight the boss… fill the bar. That’s all there is to it. This video isn’t here to give you fish, but rather teach you how to catch your own.

So every card you put on the "board' increases the timer. Put enough cards and you trigger it. You even have a gold card - mind maze- that does apparently nothing. But what it does is it immediately drops a big quantity of tiles, this triggering the boss quicker 😊
He can't see what is going on in your game so obviously he can't tell you when to fight it. Rofl.

6:30 is absolutely not true for the warrior. You can slap on every new piece of higher tier gear you get, and absolutely destroy. Whereas if you try to do a specific build you're more likely to have a much much more difficult time. Especially if you don't get the drops required for your build. So you die repeatedly early on.
Somehow i can't build the building that gives the rogue. All buildings spots are red and i can't destroy those buildings. Any tip?
It needs to be built next to the field kitchen, so you might need to remove either a tile adjacent to it or move the field kitchen somewhere else

Great video dude! I initially put this game on my ignore list when Steam suggested it, based on the graphics alone. Over the last week, I've seen countless articles online, and yesterday I bought it. When I looked up, the skies outside had darkened, I looked at the clock, and realized I'd been looping for 5-6 hours. :)
