@@おマオ whistle register screams can be a bit difficult to pull off consistently (or when transitioning from low to high), but this guy does it really well like in Dusky Vision 12:39 (this sounds like the most proper technique to use when doing whistle register screams; its a bit more condensed and makes an explosive sound when it reaches it highest point). Its a different technique than what Dani Filth (from Cradle Of Filth) uses to get his highs, which im pretty sure are inhales (inhales arent that great on the voice if they're done frequently / over lengthy periods of time and it shows with Dani's live performances cause he does it almost all the time). However, in the song Escape you can hear the vocalist use a more inhaled technique 34:53 (you can even visibly see him breathing out and then back in to get the inhale and transitioning to low gutturals, this is why these higher notes aren't as well defined as the one in Dusky Vision)

I think he's good vocalist who isn't afraid to experiment with his voice and it defiantly seems like he wants to expand and push the boundaries on his vocal capabilities, and of course with time he'll improve his voice and it'll be interesting to see how he progresses. practice is a must when it comes to doing whistle register screams, I know because i've been able to do them before and the most proper technique is the hardest to nail down correctly and it can take a while sometimes before i can actually hit those higher notes and make them sound badass like the one in Dusky Vision (which is by all means an amazing note that he hit)

Daaaaaamn. This gets me even more hyped for when Deviloof will (hopefully) finally come to Germany next year. Them having to cancel their European tour I've looked forward to for months due to COVID was definitely one of my personal lows of 2020.
Deviloof is on my agenda to see them, if they can ever come here for a N.American tour.. I have a lot of DEG fan friends that would also want to see Deviloof. I hope they will come to St. Louis, Missouri, or, Chicago Illinois.. U.S.. as soon as they possibly are able to..
Keisuke's vocals are just unreal like he just keeps screeching and screeching with no problem... and many wish they could lol. Also damn those strapped boots look at how they yassified my boy.
Nah they have a long way to go until then I'm a fan of both Diru is Diru unique in their own way but Keisuke's vocals have improved over the years Dir En Grey is kind of avant garde where as Deviloof is straight vk or Deathcore its like Diru have signature sound where as Deviloof is almost there 🤘🏻

[Mucho texto] ADVERTENCIA [Mucho texto] Realmente es una buena banda, como fan de Deviloof decidi ver todo el video (asi es toda la hora) y pude notar estas cosas: Sentí un poco de lastima por el baterista y Keisuke ya qué a ellos se le notaba que ya estaban cansados se vio qué hicieron un gran esfuerzo en el concierto. Me centraré en Keisuke (el vocalista) hacia un gran esfuerzo para qué su voz se escuchara fuerte y estuviera a la altura de las canciones como las conocemos, si Keisuke se sigue esforzando por hacer eso, tendremos a otro Olyver de BMTH que se acabo su voz, razon por la cual ya no hacen metal, bueno eso todos lo sabemos. Esto se puede notar al hacer su scream desde la primera canción, con la cual abrieron el concierto. Podemos notar que Keisuke tiene muy bien dominado el scream que hace en la canción de Dusky-Vision que sale en el minuto 2:29-2:32 de la canción original, no la del concierto. El scream si me sorprendió mucho y me alegro que ese no sea con algun programa A pesar de todo esto se disfruta, ya que procuraron estar a la altura de sus canciones grabadas, obvio no esperes que sea igual ya que es muy difícil. Me sorprendio que solo tomarán 4 descansos de 1 minuto aproximadamente Por si alguen se lo pregunta las canciones que tocaron son de sus albums Oni / Devil's Proof & Purge (Ep) Muy bueno, ya quisiera verlos realmente en vivo y no en transmisión 10/10

simplemente algo que destacar olyver perdió la voz por el mal uso del scream (que era forzar la garganta para poder hacer el scream) pero hoy en día se usa otro métodos de scream que lo hacen llamar "diafragma" y hacer que la voz salga solo por el mismo aire que suelta el diafragma por lo cual keisuke implemente esa técnica haciendo que el scream sea mucho mas duradero. pero concuerdo con vos ya que a lo largo del live se iba cansando y ya iba forzando la voz, tendría que tomar un descanso de 2 min por cada 2 o 3 music y no seguir de largo

I just want to point out that while the vocalist is dope the rest of the band is also bringing ALOT. Bums me out when people only focus on singers. In most cases singers are sort of blessed with a basis of voice thats good, not to say they don't have to train and practice a ton. But these instrumentalists also put A TON of work in.
I wouldnt neccasarily say that, vocalists have to practice a lot, especially vocal techniques like this guy, learning to do all that without ripping your throat to shreds and damaging your voice permenantly takes a lot of work. 100% agree with you though, i think in the japanese music industry all members are treated as valuable as one another and i do see a lot of fans just disreguarding the rest of the band. Especially if the vocalist has "sex appeal"
I agree with everything except the part where you said vocalists don't need a lot of practice. Being a good singer or even a good vocalist in general is a lot harder than you think. Hell it even takes a lot of skill to be screaming like he does.
