    An engineer by profession, Apeksha was always interested in the food business. Backed by her husband and a friend, she took the plunge a few months ago in setting up a tiny eatery in Padmanabhanagar, South Bengaluru, where the vegetarian menu is a mix of local favourites and snack items from Dakshina Kannada. Having received a few recommendations from their patrons in the neighbourhood, I ventured out one evening to meet this young, confident entrepreneur and support her fledgling enterprise, in doing so, I taste a satisfying tiffin of idli vade served with a rather impressionable sambar, a subtly-flavoured Mangalore bun, nourishing bonda soup and some more, before rounding off my meal with an organic jaggery coffee.       Hi Sir,
      Today I have visited the place to have breakfast with my wife, but unfortunately the required items got closed.
      More ever I saw prices on board each item they have increased from 20 to 35% , I believe it is after you published video on this eater and she is no way can claim 100rs can fill your stomach a day!!!! Now it can go upto 150.
      Any way if people likes it they will go.

      I am also from Tamil Nadu but I have stayed in Bangalore and tasted most of the vegetarian items especially my favourites are bonda soup, mangalore bun, chutney sambar, akki roti,kesari bath & kara bath. I also know Kannada as I was a student of Vidya Mandir, Malleswaram. My favorite actors are Puneeth Sir, Shiva anna, Sudeep Sir, Rajkumar Sir, Vishnuvardhan Sir, Ambareesh Sir, Ravichandran Sir, Sankarnag Sir, Anantnag Sir, Master Manjunath, Yash Sir and of course the music of Hamsalekha Sir.

    I just came back home after relishing Two plates of Idli vada and Kharabath.
    Truly amazing. Their connect with People is simply mind blowing.
    Top of it they prepared Sambar fresh and served.
    The chutney with Kharabath is a heavenly feeling while consuming.
    We completed our breakfast with Jaggery coffee.
    Wishing them more and more success. Keep it up!

    Kripalji avrey u went to Brahmins veg corner in padmanaba Nagar an engineer,s enterprises n beautifully supported them n beautifully reviewed the South canara type thindi n ur own classy style this joint seems to be cheaper than road side eatery u can't believe u can finish BF lunch n dinner in just 100 inr. You really helped them including apetcha u just rock my dear

    After watching sir's video i visited this eatery with my family for a quick breakfast. I and my sister were on top floor when we saw the video and how sir explained about the taste of sambar. But to our suprise the sambar was average as it had lot of water. Mangalore buns was OK. What I liked the most was khara bath, i never had this type of khara barh in Bangalore. So full marks for that .

      Over the past two decades US software companies got invaded by top notch software professionals from Bangalore edging out locals in the job arena , leading to the origin of the word -US engineers got “Bangalored”
      Now It could be European cafe owners’ turn to be Bangalored ?

    I visited this place after Kripals review. Tried bonda soup and jaggery coffee, as far taste was concerned it was nice. To my surprise even after Kripals visit there was hardly any people.

      Kripal ji's passion for "almost homemade" Kannada food was so obvious throughout the two minutes!
      By the way I am from Hyderabad, Telengana and broke my milk teeth on the tiffins from Neo Mysore Cafe which was next to Nightingale of India, Smt Sarojini Devi Naidu's palatial residence.

    Awesome sir, you have a Midas touch to everything you smell eat, and promote an eatery. As they say, their customers repeat their restaurant the next time you visit with your friends on a bike ride they should include "Dose's" as it was missing in their menu and seeing their sagu they should make a Mylari dose.
    But your presence in many small entrepreneurs and startup restaurants is a blessing in disguise for many as they become popular and people start thronging in large numbers.

    Kripal, What you do for these "food startups" is stuff of dreams for other startups that look for venture capitalists. Ultimately, in the cut-throat world of food, perseverence towards quality, differentiability and price will determine the life of these food ventures.     Perfect example of how one should start a small business. The right amount of passion, linkage to the local culture, tradition and language. I am sure such businesses will well.     Like we have CMM levels, ISO certifications for software industry. For food outlets, hotels Kripal certificate. If he visits and uploads the video on RUclips the hotels, eataries are cerfitied with best taste and quality.

    Nice observations, Mr.Kripal..Amazing people who run this joint.And if you consume one bite of idly and one that of vada alternately instead of finishing idly first and later on moving on for vada, you would enjoy the contrasting taste of these too and have optimum enjoyment.Dont forget to add coconut chutney along.

    I bet none can match our great kripal Amanna such a pro in hospitality and the way he plays with the literature associated with food is simply top notch and leaves his subscribers speechless, in every vlog he makes something to cherish people and because of his work and presentations many talented hoteliers had earned a recognition for their efforts and tremendous improvements of their food joints with more number of patrons / foot falls
    Unlike other youtubers he hadn't done any of paid promotions or business vlogs and yes it makes him to stand unique in the crowd

    I grew up in Bombay and the distinct taste of the Udupi Sambar - the way you explained - with some "bella" is so unique. I am yet to find a very authentic vada sambar in any part of the US or UK. The saravana bhavan or A2B sambars are all tamil Nadu sambars. The close up shot of the reddish sambar made me drool. And that is the aroma you walk into in any of these authentic udupi places along with the white coconut chutney with tiny specs of green chilies and mustard seeds. Slurp Slurp
