Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure is a sequel to an old Atari game with a similar concept to its predecessor: Get through the jungle alive and fight something at the end.
This run by Juarez (tasvideos.org/...) improves the previous movie (tasvideos.org/...) by 00:52.90 minutes using new tricks and better optimization.

This game is so good, I had such a great time playing it. Graphics are great, music creates good atmosphere, level design is intricate and offers plenty of rewards to astute players (the original Atari Pitfall is hidden in the game), and the difficulty was just right. Love, love, love this game.

I love the premise this sets, that it wasn't a graphical limitation but the main characters in Atari games just looked like that. Pretty funny! Also this game looks fun, though I'll bet it's pretty hard. That minecart area especially looked rough.

Wow. I've come to notice how much better looking the Mega Drive version is compared to the SNES version. More animation, extra shading in areas, higher resolution (a given), etc. It even has 2 more stages!
