- The lighter sold for $325 8/15/22 and I made a nice $125 profit after fees.
I will be looking for the next DuPont Lighter since I have the adapter to refill and plenty of butane.
These lighters are amazing and I know why they sell for so much brand new.
Please check out my Ebay store at www.ebay.com/s...
I am always listing cool collectible items like this everyday
Ended up getting this exact same model from my late grandfather, unengraved to boot but holy hell the weight and craftsmanship is something sorely missed with modern lighters.
@@plaguewalker2248 they are getting harder to find now a days

What a beauty! Whoever bought this from you is a lucky guy and 325 seems like a good price for a Ligne 1 in that condition. Love that it comes with the original box. I bought a new Ligne 1 five years ago. Since this model line has been discontinued you must be really lucky to find one brand new. But there are small chances. I recently found a "new" Ligne D in my local tobacco store and am tempted to pull the trigger.
I miss it and I have had a hard time finding a replacement.
Hello, I have the same silver one. Can I maybe get in contact with you to have some more information please?
Haha i use my grandads i inherited everyday. Its the most amazing sounding best built quality. And it has his initials, love it.
That's awesome!
Here in Chile, i just got a variation of that Ligne 1 small, it's pretty similar but a bit older than yours, i think is 1970 or somthing, The flame regulator is waaay smaller and to access the gas it's requieres and flat screwdriver. I was battling for a week to get the adapter and refill it, and now i can wait amazon take me the adapter. Same 20u gold coated and patern.
The Amazon adapter did not work for me since it did not fit well on the butane plastic red tip. I hope yours works for you. I had to return mine back to Amazon and had better luck on Ebay for the adapter part.
这是早期真的K金打火机。
Got the exact same DuPont LoL
That's pretty cool. 👍👍
Tengo una fosforera de esas enchapada en oro cuánto me dan por ella
If it works you should be able to get $150+ for it
How much is one of those lighters worth today?
$350 which is still a deal considering the brand new ones are double the price. I think it is cool that something that old still works.
@@chaicharin They can and will last forever. I rebuilt them daily on my extra time. Easy to service, its the knowledge and education (experience) thats the hard part. All you need is to replace the o-ring gaskets, filter, and properly clean and time everything. I just finished one of my most beautiful ones today. Mint gold strips. I love Rollagas ones better. But I love all vintage. They won’t make anything like these again.
With legalization they will make better quality lighters.
It's a beauty!
I want to get another one. I ended up selling this for $325 on Ebay for a nice profit.
I have one made in 1962 they are the same
Does it still work?
Unfortunately no
I also have a gold line 1 1962 St dupont Paris lighter with its owner Manual and box. It used to work but havent used it after I checked it's rare. I'm actually looking to sell it
Hard to beat the ting of a zippo!!!
The st dupont ting does destroy it, but its a different weight class.
