Sweetie, don't apologize for silly. Right now I wish the whole world was silly. When I watch you and Will and Jack spaniel I feel my blood pressure dropping. May God bless you all. ❤
Those Christmas cards are just adorable and Jack was just eating up all the attention he was getting during interview. Willie did an amazing job making sure your new studios didn't get wet.
I'm a Paramedic here in New Zealand and have just finished an absolutely awful shift, 30 years ago I had the privilege of travelling around Scotland, fantastic memories (Scottish heritage on my Mums side), loved Skye, got barricaded by several highland cows in our rental car, hey we are Kiwis so used to waiting on hundreds of sheep on the road, so happy to abide our time😊, love your vlogs thank you xxxx🐑🐑🐮🐮
Jack with a Santa hat would be a nice addition ❤ Your prints, cards and calendar are very special. So glad the water is running. You may need a trench with metal grading to push away from the front door. Poor porpoise didn't have a chance in that storm. If the cut clipped tendons, the fin would not kept him lifting for air. RIP 🐬
Jack, I am sure many people will respect your sensitivity, but I grew up on a farm and have seen many dead animals in Nature on many occasions, this is the reality of existence. Cheers, Rik Spector
I enjoyed being let in on the creative process you have, together and separately. The Christmas cards are just smashing: Sarah, the beasts look so jaunty in their hats; and Willie, the texts strike just the right witty note.
Can't believe you didn't go for "Christmas is Neigh!" for the horse card 😂 I'm glad your repair works managed to keep the water out this time - maybe you should consider adding a little drainage in front of the gate with a grate on top of it so you can still cross it with your car? That way you won't have to pull out the sandbags every time it rains so hard. Seeing the porpoise was very sad, but I'm glad you took the opportunity to educate yourselves and us. Sadly, these things happen, but that doesn't mean we can't get something positive out of them anyway. See you next week!
Here in coastal Georgia USA, I have been lucky to swim with Bottlenose Porpoises, or dolphins. They swim up to us in the ocean along the barrier islands. And you can "feel" the clicking or echo locating they do. Like Scotland, we protect our dolphins and Porpoises for future. It is always sad to suffer a loss. I love the christmas cards with the Santa hats! and the greeting puns are spot on! Love you guys so much. Please give Jack Spaniels a belly rub for me.
Fantastic episode and especially enjoyed Sarah's interview with Elle. Very sad about the porpoise and good to give a warning to people who may get upset. Personally i would have liked a warning about Willie and his "Mad Gnome"!!!!!lol-----Seasons Bleatings.
The storm was amazing! Would French drain down the driveway do it? I love the cards and watching Sarah's work ! Jack with a hat for xmas! Poor Dolphin 🐬 😢 I'm glad Willie is looking out!❤❤
Very sad about the dolphin but you handled it perfectly and sensitively, educating all of us which is timely as it seems we hear about beachings more often than ever. Your guest was excellent, by the way, very interesting. We were also glad to see the "flood" bypassed the byre but, WOW, what a downpour. And Sara, your Christmas cards are adorable especially the Highland Cow...very a-moo-sing. ;) Have a great week Skye Life-ers...2 and 4 legged.
I love your videos. Thanks so much for sharing them! The world is pretty rotten right now, and it’s even hard in Australia. Job redundancies, expensive to live even a basic life etc. It’s such a relief and an escape to travel to Skye every Monday (our Monday here!) and see the beautiful countryside and weather and the ups and downs of the nature there, and two happy artists and their fluffy black dog! And everyone else who pops by. Thank you!!
Living in a Yorkshire valley I am very familiar with flooding and the damage water can do so I can understand how stressful it is. My heart goes out to all those affected. It's so sad that you found a dead porpoise but it's wonderful that Ellie and people like her are striving to help them. (Jack seems to have fallen in love with her, that look of adoration!) On a lighter note I love the cards and the puns! 😃💖x
You can buy drainage pipe, its plastic pipe with holes in it, you lay it under the ground in a hollow it has worked very well with a dip in our drive way, we had to stop the water running onto the bridge. In New Zealand the product is called nova flow with holes/slots. We also use it around our sheds due to the driveway being higher than the area in front of the sheds.
Love the bloopers, but no more Halloween candy for Willie!!! The cards are wonderful❣️ your drawings Sarah are amazing. I also purchased “All I Can Do” and one other that Willie co-wrote with Rikkie called “She”. Both are very beautiful songs and I hope that the songs do really well and Rikkie does well in his career. ❤❤❤❤
Oaft! Scary storms - Well done Bob the Builder sorting the drainage! 😂 sad news on the porpoise 😢 sadly I think Willie the Gnome has officially lost it! 😂 Happy Halloween Willie, Sarah & Jack x
Willie looked like one of the seven dwarfs in his beanie hat when you were saying goodbye. Glad you didn't get flooded indoors. Shame about the dolphin/ porpoise . Love the Christmas cards. Thank you for sharing. Take care
I love your Christmas hats prints. We all need more “silly” in these serious days. I agree with the other commenter that I would love to see a print of Jack Spaniels in the Christmas hat!
So glad you got through the storms relatively ok! ...and you put the time to good creative use! Love the cards Sarah 💕🐎🐂🐑💕 I'm you're surprise visitor from a couple of weeks back... I'm home now, despite storm Babet flooding roads everywhere! It was lovely to meet you and Jack in person 💚 You live in such a beautiful place! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Love the note cards Sarah, cool to see your process. Sad to see the Porpoise. Wonderful idea to have someone speak about what to do and how to help. Willie, I think you sounded great and it is cool to hear something you new you helped to write. Your bloopers are always such fun. Have a great week🙂
So much in this video! The stone bridges were impressive in the raging stormy waters...I think Jack Spaniels had a crush on your cetacean visitor :) and it was nice to see a bit of both your artistic endeavors. The holiday card collab was cheery, and I went over to hear "All I Can Do" - a heartbreakingly beautiful song! So much talent! See you next time!
Loved the video! So interesting to see the rain impacts (and beautiful), Sarah’s printing process, and the interview with the cetacean expert. Thanks for sharing!
It’s mind blowing how much rain there was and then to hardly any water. No wonder Scotland is so green. Sarah I LOVE your Christmas cards!!!! And the greetings were hilarious🤪🤣 Was sad to see the porpoise stranded and dead. It was very good of you to include the phone numbers for people to call and report on stranded porpoises . The two of you are truly very caring people. Unfortunately Mother Nature isn’t always loving and kind. I agree with the person who commented about having Jack Spaniels on one of your Christmas cards. He’s such a handsome and good boy. Till next week. Stay healthy and safe. From the other side of the ocean…
Greetings from a snowy Colorado! We got 4 inches of snow last night. Luckily, it was a wet snow that melted quickly. Glad your water issues on the property aren't a horrible headache. I love the hat on the sheep! So cute! Your Christmas cards are lovely! Poor porpoise! What a shame the poor thing expired. It's an unfortunate fact of life. I've seen a Christmas card with a drunk reindeer and it holds up a cocktail saying, "Bingle Jells!" I still laugh when I think of it!
Hopefully the rain and the flooding will never be worse than that for you. How amazing to see that it had all drained away the next morning. I love Sarah's Christmas cards - what a brilliant idea.

I would love to see a print of Jack Spaniels in the Christmas hat!!...maybe with a Tartan bow tie too!!... that would make adorable Christmas cards!!
I was just about to comment the same thing!! ❤❤❤
Lynda cute idea..so surprised sarah didnt think of that. Shame jack should have suggested it to her.
Certainly those that know and love Jack would pretty eagerly buy them.
Oh yes!
Next year!
Sweetie, don't apologize for silly. Right now I wish the whole world was silly. When I watch you and Will and Jack spaniel I feel my blood pressure dropping. May God bless you all. ❤
I agree I love the ‘silly’
Jack Spaniels needs a pic with the Santa Hat!❤
That's what I was thinking
Good idea
Those Christmas cards are just adorable and Jack was just eating up all the attention he was getting during interview. Willie did an amazing job making sure your new studios didn't get wet.
Hoof yourself a Merry, Little Christmas, make the Yultide neigh.

You haven’t been back in 30years that says it all! 😂
Those prints are beautiful Sarah and Jack Daniels would look lovely with a Christmas hat. Willie loved your mad gnome.
The mad gnome.....😂😂😂 another superb slice of all things skye life. Braw🤟🤟🤟
I enjoy your posts. I like watching Jack Spaniels running around too.
Absolutely love the cards and silly puns lol😂😂😂 brilliant ❤
Jack with a Santa hat would be a nice addition ❤
Your prints, cards and calendar are very special.
So glad the water is running.

Yes love that idea about jack and a Santa hat!
Well done Sarah your art is amazing, love what you do.Thankyou for sharing your life with the world it is inspiring 😊❤
The rain that hit Scotland was unreal. Glad you had sandbags at hand.
Jack,
I am sure many people will respect your sensitivity, but
I grew up on a farm and have seen many dead animals in Nature on
many occasions, this is the reality of existence.
Cheers,

The snippet of the song was amazing Willie. Love the prints Sarah. You do such lovely works. Thank you both for sharing your talents and life.
You know Christmas is called the “silly season”. So your cards are perfect.
I enjoyed being let in on the creative process you have, together and separately. The Christmas cards are just smashing: Sarah, the beasts look so jaunty in their hats; and Willie, the texts strike just the right witty note.
Can't believe you didn't go for "Christmas is Neigh!" for the horse card 😂

See you next week!
Yes - I think they need a permanent trench with cattle grid across it to stop water, and beasts, getting into their site.
"Silent Neigh-t, Holy Neigh-t". Sorry, you guys started it!!!!
Can't be Sunday if the Skye Life Adventures aren't on. It is a perfect way to end the week.
Keep smiling .Living the Skye Life !🐸

Never a dull moment in Skye! How could creativity ever fail in such a lovely place?
Fantastic episode and especially enjoyed Sarah's interview with Elle. Very sad about the porpoise and good to give a warning to people who may get upset. Personally i would have liked a warning about Willie and his "Mad Gnome"!!!!!lol-----Seasons Bleatings.
We had those Tea cakes today...Irrisistable!
❤Luv ya bunches @Sarah, @Willie Scott,and @Jack Spaniels ❤
Jack is such a character to watch, those expressions.😂❤

Love the Dennis the menace jumper Willie 👍🏻😁
Happy Sunday everyone! Best day of the week again when LTSL uploads 😊😊😊😊
Wowzers Dennis the Menace can sing 🎉
Cards look great!
The card idea is so cute!!!!
I think either 'Moo-ey Christmas' or 'A neigh in a manger' would be good on the Christmas prints :)
Yes
A painting of Jack with a santa hat would be lovely
The storm was amazing! Would French drain down the driveway do it? I love the cards and watching Sarah's work ! Jack with a hat for xmas! Poor Dolphin 🐬 😢 I'm glad Willie is looking out!❤❤
Thanks for the link to Billy Reekie! The collab song is absolutely beautiful! Shared it with friends & family in Canada!!❤
A pleasure - glad you enjoyed it!
More new music coming soon! 🙂
Big fans here in Nova Scotia. Bonnie Cat likes to watch Jack Spaniels.
Hi, Sarah and Willie. I’m glad that the storm didn’t do damage to your home. I love your holiday card, Sarah. See you next week❤️❤️❤️
Please give Jack Spaniels a Christmas hat!
I love to sing livin the sky life with you at the end of the video.
I think the animals with horns should have some festive ornaments and bells next year. I love the Santa hat, especially on the sheep!
I love the cards
I love those cards, I really do! 😍
This show makes my Sunday. Thank you Willie, Sarah and Jack Spaniels.
Merry Christmas to Ewes! Loved those Christmas cards! I would also love to see Jack Spaniels in a red hat with a plaid waistcoat!❤
Run a drain down the side of the drive past the shed straight down and it will take the majority of the water that way
I adore the sheep in a hat ❤
Great thank you for sharing your adventures with us🙏✝️🙏🇨🇦
All the bottle digging has stood you in good stead with your flood control efforts!
Your work is beautiful Best Wishes from Australia 💙💗🇦🇺
Very good information regarding cetacean strandings. Thanks for being responsible citizens!
Your art is phenomenal! Glad you sorted the "river" issues 😊
Love the tip to Halloween on the video! Very funny!
Love all yer content very interesting💙🧡💞
Very sad about the dolphin but you handled it perfectly and sensitively, educating all of us which is timely as it seems we hear about beachings more often than ever. Thank you for the lovely video. Take care.
Love your Christmas cards beautifully done SARAH xxxxxx❤❤❤❤
I was thinking of you doing Jack Spaniels Christmas Cards. He has such a special meaning to all of us who love all your comedic routines about 😂 Jack.
Blimey! Willie can really sing!!! Tremendous!
"Happy Neigh Year" can also work for the pony.
I love your videos. Thanks so much for sharing them! The world is pretty rotten right now, and it’s even hard in Australia. The cards are brilliant. The talk with Ellie was really interesting. The song sounds great. Going to have a listen. Thanks for another excellent video
