I called it in 5 lol. I said it before game 1, the Mavs had no answer for Celtics' offensive spacing + their perimeter shooting. Collapsing the paint wasn't gonna work against them, which is Mavs strongest point of defense.

I wouldn't consider him "fluka". He did all he could, they're just not near as good as boston from top to bottom. He's gonna get his title. But they need to make some more moves. Not saying he needs another superstar, cuz I don't think that'd help. They need a player like OG Anunoby or something. A great defensive player that also can get ya 20+ when they need it. Nobody else on Dallas besides kyrie and luka seem to be able to do that. But boston....everyone in the starting lineup could get you a 30 piece on a given night

@@jihigh482eh Luka doesn’t need to be shredded, but he could use some better conditioning to be more consistent on both ends of the floor. He’s been dead terrible on defense and that’s been a huge issue for them. He got hunted all series and punished for his horrible defense, and some better conditioning and footwork would go a long way toward addressing that

They held Boston to like 105ppg. This team had the best statistical offense in nba history, their defense was not the issue.
Their issue was offense. Kyrie was a no show all 3 games in Boston, and they failed to find successs vs the Boston defense (only a scored 100+ once all Series)
