Here's Marina Tomei performing "Los Mayos" from "Pieces Caracteristiques" by Federico Moreno Torroba (1891-1982). Marina recorded this piece on a 1964 Jose Ramirez "1a MT" classical guitar made with spruce top and CSA rosewood back and sides. Recorded at the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA.

Ms Tomei's "style" is so refreshing and most enjoyable. Already looking forward to her next performance at GSI. Thanks for a great video! 🙂

Great performance! But does anyone else worry about her hair? How does it not cause interference when it brushes against the strings? Just a thought. No shade or disrespect intended, just curious. Thanks to GSI for continuing to share these world class artists and instruments.
