I remember scoring 1st ensemble in my town and last place bassist. Then 3rd ensemble state (TX) and realizing stage fright ad as a soloist is real and must be overcome to it's own degree before mastery can be achieved, lol. Good luck to all soloist out there. Do your best!

Congrats to Ms. Galietto! They should record the rehearsals and post them too. I'd love to see "making of" videos of these great players at work. Preaching in the desert again: the guitar is not a piano. This modern style of monotonal, static right hand playing is an affront to the guitar and its possibilities.

I honestly just threw up a little reading your nonsense. She will herself tell you how not well she did on the first movement of the concerto. Perhaps your heart isn’t corny, but your words are as corny as it gets.

I’m sorry, you must be deaf. That is not to say that she’s not a good player, but this performance was not a good one.
i must say that I’m embarrassed of people offering disingenuous encouragement; I refuse to believe that so many could have a hearing impairment. Talented she is, but this performance was not sublime, impeccable, marvelous, heavenly, fantastic, or whatever other over-the-top superlatives were thrown her way. Ask her how she feels about the first movement. She will herself tell you how many scales she missed. It is one thing to be encouraging and say you are talented, Keep playing, good job. It is another thing to lie and say that it was impeccable and marvelous. Shame on all of you.

I admit I wish I could play like Pepe Romero, but I have no aspirations to play the way she played the famous concierto. I assure you I'm not jealous, and I take pride in telling people the truth.

They should re edit this video. The wide camera images, where you can see the whole orchestra, are out of sync with the music. Very distracting.
While they’re at it, she should record the entire first movement. If she’s going to be on par with the great performers, it was rather terrible. I’m sure she’s an overall excellent player, but this was not a good performance.
I've never been so uncertain about someone's gender. She is supposedly a she but she strikes me as a he.
