There used to be Sri Ratu hotel on that now unbuilt on site and the demolished place next to it once was Putri Bali Spa. We used to stay at Hotel Lumbung Sari in Gang Three Brothers for many years. Now we always stay at Three Brothers Bungalows and Villas in the same gang. That warung on the corner is Warung Kartini, a great family-run restaurant.
Lots of demolished buildings/places. But, I think it's good if they build something new over it, rather this way than destroying green and rice paddies (if any)...

I stayed at the Pura Raja on first trips to Bali . Good to walk to surf breaks. There are much better hotels..... Thanks
