Please make a video on : 1. global vs Indian mba program. 2. Does age matter to switch roles from tech to consulting via mba? 3. Is cracking isb easier than IIMs as isb is not prestigious as IIMs? Thanks
Very insightful, thank you so much, please make another vid on calculate the post-MBA career track for top 30th MBA programs, and ROI on them. Thank you
My recommendation - get an advanced degree in your chosen field first. Work for a few years and then get an MBA if you like. MBA as a course is very well structured in the US universities and you will learn a lot which will definitely help you with your job and personal life too. If you opt for a part-time MBA, many employers fully / partially fund it which works out to be a great deal. If you spend your own money to get an MBA, then make sure your MBA program is highly ranked. Any and every bit of higher education in the US is definitely worth it if you are interested and willing to spend the necessary time to study. And it's not as stressful as in India. Go for it.
I think the MBA is not useful for Indian students as it is hard for them to get visas after that compared to those doing MS or especially PhD. Also for those going back to India with MBA, management has cultural aspects and things taught in Anglo-Saxon capitalism is not useful for application in Adani-Ambani family capitalism which is popular in India.
I don't think age matters. But you may have to take significant salary cut despite acquiring MBA if you want to shift, say from software development to product management or finance or marketing. I majored in finance during MBA due to personal interest. My background is software development. Although I was interested to check out finance, the salary cut was going to be significant and I chose to continue in software development. If you get a full time MBA from a top ranked school, switching fields/career may be easier.
Hello Ma'am. I really appreciate your efforts for making informative videos. I got admit for MEM from Syracuse University for Fall 24 and from NCSU for Spring 2025. What would I consider in these 2 options?
Ma'am, I want to do MTech in computer science in the USA in a college that has good R&D in cyber security. So please give me suggestions on whether I should give the GRE or not (now that I am in my final year of B.E. and preparing for IELTS). Because my friend is studying in the US, he told me that some colleges will stop GRE compulsory. So, ma'am, please give me suggestions . for my future, because I am so confused.

I am 25yrs old, got into Babson 2 year program with 50k scholarship, should I go ahead with it?
It can be a decent option if you have a clear plan in place. As I mentioned in the video, what’s your reason for doing an mba should be clear
The world is so different now.
