c 1880 my grandfather was in the Baptist church as a child about to hear a sermon when a group of men rode up ,tide their horses to the hitching post . They stood at the door as two walked into the church and sat down near front. after the service when the collection plates were passed, one of the two made a band signal and two men walked in with sacks and covered the plates with gold coins then they rode off. After 20 minutes of discussion, an elder made an announcement , "That was Jesse James" In a small church in Arkansas , not near any town.

The first picture is Jesse but the second picture is of his brother Frank. Jesse James was not killed by Robert Ford, they were cousins. When Jesse rented the house in St. Joseph, he told Charlie Bigelow, who was a part of his gang, that him, his wife and his two boys could live there. Zerelda (Zee) was actually Jesse’s cousin, so were the Ford boys. They were in the house with Charlie and there was an argument and Bob shot Charlie. When Jesse saw what had happened, he told Bob to just tell the people that it was him and walked outside saying that he just killed Jesse James. When they were getting the next of kin to identify the body, that’s when Charlie’s wife told them it was Jesse. So when people say that the DNA don’t match, their right, it don’t! You folks need to watch this video. It is an older interview of Jesse’s cousin that took care of him before he died and a lot of the things this gentleman is saying matches what Mrs. Everhard is saying. I see a tv show about digging up jesse james body and they said that the body/ so called body of jesse DID HAVE A BULLET IN HIS RIGHT LUNG from the past ? is that true at all or know whats what ?

actually he rented the house out in Liberty Missouri and it was the tenant that was shot Jesse had lived to be a ripe old age a southern Confederate hero!
i believe this is true.i know the most of this story,and of j frank dalton when he died,was found to have scars round his neck,as jesse was hanged as a young man and cut down,dalton also had i think 28 bullet wounds.back to the 1940s and 50s it was jesse evans who told of billy the kid still being alive,and jesse james,and that jesse and brushy bill were friends,brushy died before jesse. so if you believe this is true,its easy to see that possibly brushy is billy also! billy did visit his friend jesse,j frank dalton on hearing of brushy bills death,said i have lost a very good friend.i think back in those times a lot of people could have faked their own deaths,and just moved on,and started a new life using another name.

My great aunt once claimed that her mother was one of his cousins and they met him once in little rock Arkansas in around 1920
I know bits and pieces of the James family history with some of his biological family living in Tampa Florida who relocated back to their home town of the James family in Texas who my family got to know very well.
What I do know regarding other outlaws during this same time frame is that American history was indeed covering up many of their deaths and still do today. I can not clarify Jessie James death but I do believe the possibility of him not being killed is indeed possible however as I also do not believe John Wilkes booth or billy the kid was killed according to history either. Who knows how many others were covered up in the reported deaths.

Tyrone Power played Jesse James in a movie. A Brady Buch Show showed a kid who admired JJ but stopped after someone whose family knew him talked to him before he had a bad dream about Jesse J killing his family.
Jesse James has long been my passion since I was a little boy. I'm 81 years old now. And I want more than anything to believe that this is true. I just see too many holes in the story. Did Frank J Dalton have the tip of his left middle finger missing? If you could produce photographic evidence of that you would convince me 100%. And for those that don't know the story his nickname was dingus. How he acquired that moniker. He followed Frank into a Bushwacker Camp when he was 14 and a half years old. Sitting around the campfire he had just finished cleaning and was reloading his black powder Army Colt when it discharge I blew the middle finger off his left hand. As to save face and not be embarrassed he said that's the dad dingus pistol I ever seen and so the title was acquired
My thoughts exactly. And if Jesse was as important as this guy claims he’d not only have been very rich, he wouldn’t have outed himself no matter how old he was. The consequences would be too steep. Not to mention those types take their vows of secrecy very seriously.

My grandmother was a James her father was killed by his first cousin. The James's in my area made moon shine for many years even supplied liquor to Al Capone during prohibition. I can assure you that this family was a ruff ass bunch that you better know for sure. Now number one a man like Jesse number one did not take his gun off an turn his back to a cousin that he did not trust or could rely on. Jesse James was not shot by Ford. Well whoever was in that grave was kin to him because that's how they proved it was Jesse in the grave. They took DNA from family members and it did match their DNA and the only way that can be is u had to have a family member in that grave. I don't understand why people don't except facts, did Jesse kill his own family member that looked just like him and he was on display for almost 2 weeks. The only out law that could be not true would be Billy the kid. No pictures of one of the biggest outlaws in his day and no phote of him dead and u burry Billy the next day. Crazyhorse AZ well what difference does it make. People are going to assume whatever they choose. I just know that my grandmother was born in 1897 as a James. Her father was like second or third cousins which is distant I guess. An I know she met Frank twice before he died. An I know my grandmother was no liar. I don't know any James that committed suicide. Jesse lived his live out in full died a natural death under a alias name. An is buried in West Tennessee under that alias name.
